For gaming, start by comparing 1440p high-refresh monitors; choose 4K if sharper detail matters more to you than maximizing game frame rates. Neither resolution guarantees a particular performance level: the available specifications establish display connectivity, not game benchmarks for this exact mini PC. Before buying, match the monitor input and cable to the output on your specific AtomMan G1 Pro.
Choose 1440p or 4K based on how you use the PC
A 1440p high-refresh monitor is a practical gaming-first category to consider for the G1 Pro’s RX 9060 XT. It balances resolution with the option of a faster refresh rate, but the right target depends on your games, graphics settings, screen size, and expectations. The available sources do not benchmark a representative set of games on this exact mini PC, so they cannot establish a guaranteed frame rate at 1440p.
4K is also a supported display-output option according to MINISFORUM. That describes the computer’s ability to send a 4K display signal; it does not establish how quickly a game will render at 4K. Consider 4K if resolution and desktop detail take priority, and check independent tests of the PC and games you care about before treating any performance estimate as a buying basis.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsCheck the exact ports before selecting a monitor
MINISFORUM lists HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort outputs for the RX 9060 XT configuration, and advertises quad 4K display support. However, its product information conflicts on the number of DisplayPort 2.1 outputs for that version: the technical table lists one, while other page content gives a different count. Check the ports on your unit or its manual before planning a multi-monitor setup or relying on a particular DisplayPort connection. MINISFORUM’s AtomMan G1 Pro product page describes the vendor’s display claims.
#1 Best Overall
- System Compatibility Note: This 2‑slot card measures 249 mm (L) x 132 mm (W) x 41 mm (H) and requires a single 8‑pin power connector. Please verify available chassis clearance and ensure your power supply is rated for a recommended 550W before purchase.
- Dedicated Support: Please contact us directly through Amazon for any product questions or assistance you may require.
- Next‑Gen AMD RDNA 4 Architecture: Powered by the AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT GPU with 32 Compute Units featuring 3rd Gen Ray Tracing and 2nd Gen AI Accelerators, delivering exceptional 1440p gaming and AI‑enhanced performance.
- Blazing‑Fast Engine Clock: Delivers a boost clock of up to 3290 MHz and a game clock of 2700 MHz out of the box, providing the raw power for smooth, high‑framerate gameplay.
- 16GB GDDR6 Memory on 128‑Bit Bus: Equipped with 16GB of high‑speed GDDR6 memory running at 20 Gbps, offering ample capacity and bandwidth for modern game textures and creative applications.
AMD lists DisplayPort 2.1a and HDMI 2.1b for the RX 9060 XT graphics family. That GPU-family specification does not by itself settle the port layout on the mini PC. Confirm the actual computer output, the monitor’s input, and their supported resolution-and-refresh combination together. A suitable cable is also necessary for the mode you intend to use.
Compare the monitor’s resolution, refresh rate, and inputs
- Resolution: Compare 1440p and 4K in light of your gaming and desktop priorities. The manufacturer advertises 4K output, but output capability is not a game-performance result.
- Refresh rate: Check the monitor’s native refresh rate and whether the specific PC output, monitor input, and cable support your intended resolution at that rate. Do not infer a supported mode from the port label alone.
- Input: Choose a monitor with an HDMI or DisplayPort input compatible with an available output on your exact G1 Pro. Verify the complete connection path before purchasing.
- Use case: For one primary gaming display, resolution and refresh rate are likely to be central choices. For several displays, verify the exact outputs and simultaneous modes on your unit, particularly given the product-page port-count inconsistency.
- Screen and image preferences: Compare size, panel technology, response, and image quality against your budget. The cited sources do not compare specific monitors or establish model-level recommendations.
What the RX 9060 XT specifications do—and do not—tell you
MINISFORUM lists the AtomMan G1 Pro RX 9060 XT configuration with 16 GB of VRAM and a 140 W GPU TDP. These are configuration specifications, not promises about a particular game’s frame rate or the best monitor for every buyer.

AMD’s June 2025 RX 9060 XT overview reports GPU-family connectivity and performance comparisons from AMD’s performance labs. Its RX 9060 XT 16 GB versus RX 7600 XT gaming comparisons were conducted at native 1440p on a specified desktop test system; AMD’s footnotes identify May 2025 testing, drivers, and configurations, and caution that manufacturers’ configurations can vary. These are not tests of the AtomMan G1 Pro and should not be treated as predicted frame rates for it. See AMD’s RX 9060 XT overview for the stated test context.

A quick pre-purchase checklist
- Decide whether 1440p at a high refresh rate or 4K better fits your priorities.
- Inspect your G1 Pro or its manual to confirm the available GPU-connected outputs.
- Check that the chosen monitor has a matching input and supports your intended resolution and refresh rate through that connection.
- Confirm that the cable supports the same mode, then compare the monitor’s size, panel characteristics, and price.
- If you plan to connect several displays, verify the exact port count and simultaneous display modes for your unit rather than relying on the inconsistent DisplayPort count on the product page.
