On Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, press the Xbox button while playing, then open Game activity > Achievements. You can also check achievement progress in the Xbox mobile app, Windows PC app, or PC Game Bar; the exact available controls vary by platform and rollout.
Check achievements on an Xbox console
- While playing a game, press the Xbox button to open the Guide.
- Select Game activity > Achievements to view the game’s achievement list and progress. Xbox documents this route for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Xbox Wire’s achievement update gives the same in-game path.
Unlocked achievements appear in the game’s list and contribute to your Gamerscore. The list also lets you inspect achievements that are not yet unlocked.
Find achievements on a phone or PC
Xbox mobile app on Android or iOS
Open the Xbox mobile app and use its achievements feature to review progress. Xbox advertises achievement progress, leaderboards, sorting, filtering, and sharing, though its product page does not provide a complete tap-by-tap route. The listed minimum operating-system versions are iOS 15.1 and Android 8.0. See the Xbox mobile app page.
Windows PC app or PC Game Bar
Xbox lists achievement tracking in its Windows PC app and PC Game Bar, as well as on consoles and mobile. Open the achievements view available in the app or Game Bar you are using; Xbox’s cited overview confirms these surfaces but does not specify current button-by-button navigation. Xbox Wire’s overview describes the supported platforms.

Reveal a secret achievement
Some entries conceal their title, description, and Gamerscore until you reveal them. On the console achievement list, choose the secret achievement’s reveal option to display those details. You can hide them again or leave them visible. Reveal them only if you are comfortable with possible story or gameplay spoilers; Xbox describes the feature in its achievement update.
What new profile and completion features mean
Some newer achievement controls have been announced for Xbox Insiders rather than all players. Availability can depend on Insider access and rollout stage.

Gaming tab and Mythic progress
In a September 29, 2026 announcement, Xbox said Insiders could use a Gaming tab on their profile to see achievements, Gamerscore milestone badge progress, and completed games. Xbox also described a per-game progress bar toward Mythic status, which is awarded for completing a game’s original achievements. The view distinguishes original achievements from add-ons, so DLC or achievements added later are not required for Mythic status. These are Insider features described at announcement, not a guaranteed menu for every account. Read Xbox Wire’s announcement.

Xbox’s April 8, 2026 post described tests with select Insiders for hiding games on a profile, highlighting fully completed games, and filtering the achievement list. Hiding a game changes its profile presentation; Xbox said it does not remove Gamerscore or stop activity reporting. Because these options were in testing and staged rollout, check your current interface rather than assuming they are available to everyone. See the Xbox Wire post.

If an achievement seems to be missing
The official material cited here does not establish a universal delay window or a specific repair sequence for an achievement that has not appeared. Avoid assuming that a particular wait time or sync action will resolve it. Check the game’s list again and consult current Xbox Support instructions for your platform and the specific achievement before taking troubleshooting steps.
