To check your name in Haryana’s electoral roll, search through the Election Commission of India (ECI) Voters’ Services Portal or its electoral search portal. You can look up your entry using an EPIC number, elector details or mobile number, then confirm the personal and polling details shown. If an online search finds no match, try spelling variations, add location filters or inspect the relevant roll PDF.
Search the Haryana voter list online
- Open the ECI Voters’ Services Portal and choose the voter-name search service, labelled “Search Your Name in Voter List, Know Your Polling Details,” or go directly to the electoral search portal.
- Choose a search method: EPIC number, elector details or mobile number. For an EPIC search, enter the EPIC number, select Haryana when asked for a state, and complete the captcha.
- Review the result and compare the elector’s name and other displayed details. Check the polling information shown as well.
Choose the search method that fits what you have

| Elector details | You do not have the EPIC number or want to search by personal details. | Enter the requested elector details and use Haryana and any available location filters. |

| Roll PDF | The portal search is inconclusive or you need to inspect the underlying roll. | Open the ECI Voters’ Services Portal roll-download service, select Haryana and an available revision year, then inspect the relevant PDF. |
Search options and available roll revisions can change. The online name search and roll-download service are distinct from ECI’s historical “last SIR” search; confirm that you are checking the relevant electoral roll, rather than relying only on an old or historical entry.
If your name does not appear
A failed exact-name search does not by itself establish that you are absent from the roll. Try these checks before drawing a conclusion:

- Try spelling variations of the name and, where appropriate, enter it in the relevant native language.
- Add location information such as district, assembly constituency and polling station when the search offers those filters. ECI’s historical-roll search guidance recommends location filters and name variations when an exact search fails.
- Use the roll-download service to select Haryana and an available revision year, then inspect the relevant roll PDF.
- If you still cannot resolve the result, call the ECI helpline at 1950 or use the portal to book a call with a Booth Level Officer (BLO).

Correct details or replace an EPIC
If your entry contains an error or you need a replacement EPIC, use Form 8 through the ECI portal. The portal also provides application tracking, so you can check the status after submitting your request.
What to check before polling
- Confirm that your name appears in the electoral roll relevant to the election, rather than only in an old or historical roll.
- Check that the personal details displayed belong to you. Use Form 8 if a correction is needed.
- Check the polling details for the applicable election. Polling information is provided alongside the name-search service, but election-specific instructions should be checked for the poll in question.
- At the polling place, officials check the elector’s name in the roll used for that poll and then check an identity document. Follow the Commission’s applicable instructions on which identity documents are accepted.
ECI portal services and available roll revisions may change. Use the current portal and the roll applicable to the election you plan to vote in.
