Open the scheduled livestream’s linked playlist and check the videos in their displayed order. That is the way to see what is listed next—but YouTube does not guarantee that every upcoming livestream exposes a playlist to viewers. If no playlist link or panel appears, you can still find and follow the event, but the available official guidance does not document a universal way to preview its future playlist.
Check the livestream’s playlist
- Open the scheduled livestream’s watch page, or visit the channel’s Live tab.
- Look for a playlist link or a playlist panel associated with the stream. Open it if available.
- Read the playlist entries in the order shown. The displayed sequence tells you which listed video comes next.
YouTube Help describes viewing playlists and reordering videos, but does not say that every scheduled livestream watch page will show an associated playlist. If you cannot find one, that channel may not be exposing it on the page.
What you can do if no playlist appears
Check the channel’s upcoming-stream listing or the Live area in the YouTube app to locate the event. Where available, select “Notify me” to get a reminder when the scheduled stream starts. These options help you find or follow the livestream; they do not reveal the order of its future playlist videos.

Changing the displayed order may be temporary
YouTube’s playlist help describes dragging videos up or down in the playlist panel on a watch page. This changes the order displayed to you temporarily; it should not be treated as an edit to the creator’s source playlist.

A watch queue is personal
Your watch queue is separate from the creator’s playlist and does not prove what the livestream will play next. YouTube says a browser queue does not persist after the browser closes; its help also says queueing on mobile requires Premium.
Which route answers which question?

Viewer pages versus creator controls
YouTube Studio’s Live tab and Live Control Room are creator-facing tools for managing streams. To find a public event as a viewer, use the channel’s listings or the YouTube app’s Live area. A scheduled event and a playlist are different things: finding an upcoming stream does not by itself provide a preview of its playlist.
