To check whether a game is included in your PlayStation Plus plan, find its current listing in PlayStation’s game finder or the PlayStation Plus hub on your console. Then check whether it is a Monthly Game, a Game Catalog title, a Classics Catalog title, or a Game Trial—and match that category to your membership tier. Availability can vary by country and change over time, so the listing shown for your region is the one to trust.
Check the game’s current PlayStation Plus listing
- Search PlayStation’s official game finder. On the PlayStation Plus games page, use the Game Type or Genre filters, or browse the A–Z catalog. For the full list available in your country or region, PlayStation recommends checking the PS Plus hub on your console.
- On PS5, open the PS Plus hub. From Games home, move right to PlayStation Plus, open Benefits, then select Monthly Games or Game Catalog.
- On PS4, open PlayStation Plus. From the function screen, select PlayStation Plus, then choose Monthly Games or Game Catalog.
- Open the game’s listing and check its category and availability. Confirm that the category matches your plan, and look for any catalog end date or device and play-method details. A purchase offer on the game page does not by itself mean the game is included with your membership.
PlayStation’s game page says, “Please check the PlayStation Plus hub on your console to see the full list of titles available in your country/region.” Catalog listings can differ by region and some titles leave the service, so an old list or screenshot may no longer reflect what you can play.

Match the game category to your membership tier
The PlayStation Plus plan comparison describes the US plan benefits below. Names and availability can vary by market; check your local plan details and game listing.

Monthly Games and catalog games work differently. PlayStation Support describes Monthly Games as games available to download and play at no extra cost during a PlayStation Plus membership. Add an offered Monthly Game to your library, and keep an active membership to play it. Game Catalog and Classics Catalog titles can be removed from the service, so access to a listed title is not a promise that it will remain available indefinitely.

Check whether you can download or stream it
Being included does not always mean a game can be downloaded on your device. Most catalog games can be downloaded, but the available method depends on the individual game and platform; some classic PS3 games are streaming-only. Check the title’s details in the console hub or game listing rather than assuming every classic can be installed.
Streaming also has membership and network requirements. PlayStation Support specifies a minimum connection speed of 5 Mbps for streaming and 15 Mbps for 1080p; 1080p also requires a game that supports that resolution. Remote Play and Share Play are unavailable while streaming. See PlayStation’s streaming requirements for the current details.

When a game appears included but you cannot play it
- It is listed under a higher tier: A Game Catalog listing requires Extra or Premium, while Classics Catalog titles and Game Trials require Premium under the US plan comparison. Essential includes Monthly Games, not those catalogs.
- The game left the catalog: Check its live regional listing for availability or a removal date. A game that appeared in a previous month’s list may no longer be included.
- You are viewing another region’s information: Use the PS Plus hub on your console to see the list for your country or region.
- You expected a download: Check the supported platform and play method; some titles, including a selection of classic PS3 games, are streaming-only.
- You expected streaming to work: Confirm that your plan and game support streaming and that your connection meets PlayStation’s requirements.
