There is no single public dashboard that shows all personal data Indian government agencies can access. You can review Aadhaar authentication activity through UIDAI’s Authentication History service; for other information, identify the public authority and request records it holds through the relevant RTI channel. What you can obtain depends on the records available and legal disclosure limits.
Which route fits the information you want to check?

Check your Aadhaar authentication history
UIDAI’s Authentication History service is the most direct way to review Aadhaar authentication activity linked to your Aadhaar number. You can also use mAadhaar. The service requires verification using the mobile number registered with Aadhaar.
- Open UIDAI’s official Authentication History service, or use the mAadhaar app.
- Authenticate using your Aadhaar number or Virtual ID (VID) and complete the registered-mobile verification.
- Choose the relevant date range if you need to review records beyond the first displayed set. UIDAI says the service covers the previous six months and displays up to 50 records at a time.
- Review the transaction details, including the date and time, authentication mode, UIDAI response, AUA name, transaction ID, result, and any error code shown.
The history is evidence of an authentication event, not proof of which underlying information an agency viewed, retained, or copied. It covers the Aadhaar authentication channel only.

What to do about an Aadhaar transaction you do not recognize
Note or save the event’s date, AUA name, and transaction identifiers. UIDAI’s Authentication History FAQ advises Aadhaar holders who did not perform a listed transaction to contact the respective AUA for further details. Ask that organization to explain the event using the identifiers shown in your history.

Request other records through RTI
For information outside Aadhaar authentication history, first work out which public authority is likely to hold the records. Frame the request around existing records rather than asking a broad question such as what information the government can access. For example, specify the service or account, the record type you seek, and a bounded time period.
- Identify the public authority and the records you want it to search for. Relevant records might include records associated with a specified account or service and period; whether particular logs exist or can be disclosed depends on the authority and applicable law.
- Submit through the appropriate RTI route. The Government of India’s RTI Online service is for central ministries and departments. A state authority or another public authority may require a separate portal or a request to its designated Public Information Officer.
- Use precise dates, service identifiers, and record types. Keep the filing receipt and the authority’s response.
The RTI Act concerns records held by or under a public authority, including electronic records, but statutory exemptions can restrict disclosure. An RTI request is therefore not a guaranteed way to obtain surveillance or access logs, and a request for an explanation does not itself ensure that an authority will create a record that does not exist.

Check which data-protection provisions are in force
The Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act and Rules include commencement provisions, so the framework does not necessarily take effect all at once. Government summaries describe the law and its rights in broad terms, but that alone does not establish that a particular provision is currently available as a remedy. Check the applicable commencement notifications and rules before relying on a DPDP process. Do not assume that it provides a route to obtain government agency access logs.

If your concern relates to a specific platform, such as DigiLocker, start with that service’s official account support and terms. DigiLocker’s terms refer to access logs as confidential information; that reference does not establish a user-facing, comprehensive audit of government agencies’ access to your data. A platform’s own account history and UIDAI authentication history answer different questions.
