On a supported Samsung Galaxy device, open Settings > Digital Wellbeing (or Digital Wellbeing and parental controls) and tap the screen-time chart to see your usage. You can also review a weekly summary or set limits for individual apps. Names and layouts can vary by device, region, and software version.
Check today’s screen time

Tap Digital Wellbeing or Digital Wellbeing and parental controls.

Tap the screen-time chart or tracker to open the usage details. Depending on the device, the dashboard can show time spent in apps, notifications received, and device unlocks.

Samsung says Digital Wellbeing is available on Android 10 or later, but screens and settings can vary by provider, software version, and model. See Samsung’s US Digital Wellbeing guide and Samsung Chile’s instructions for regional guidance.

See a weekly summary
In Digital Wellbeing, open Weekly report to review the average daily screen time and the apps used most frequently during the week. This gives you a broader view than the current day’s chart.
Set a screen-time goal or app limit
Set a general goal
Digital Wellbeing includes an optional screen-time goal. Open the feature’s settings and follow the on-screen options; the precise controls can differ across Galaxy models and software versions.

Limit time in a specific app
Use App timers to set a limit for a selected app. Samsung says the app becomes unavailable after its configured limit is reached. Available controls and labels may vary.
Check a child’s usage and manage limits
A parent’s Family Link controls are separate from the personal Digital Wellbeing dashboard. Samsung’s UK guide describes accessing a child’s controls through Settings > Samsung account > Family > child account > Family Link, with options including daily limits, downtime, app limits, and content restrictions. That Samsung child-account setup is documented for Galaxy devices running One UI 6.1 or higher.

Samsung’s Caribbean support page also documents a route through Settings > Digital Wellbeing and parental controls > Parental controls for Google Family Link. The route and available features depend on region and setup, so check the menus on your device and consult Samsung UK’s Galaxy for Families guide or Samsung Caribbean support.

Check your device’s Android and software version. Samsung’s US documentation specifies Android 10 or later for Digital Wellbeing, while noting that availability and settings can vary.

If the menu or a parental-control option still does not match, consult Samsung support for your region and device model. Samsung states that Digital Wellbeing cannot be removed or disabled in its US support documentation.
