Check Pakistan National Savings rates on the official Latest Profit Rates page, and note the effective date shown with the schedule. The page displayed rates effective 1 October 2026 and said Savings Account profit remained 10.00% per annum. That figure applies to the Savings Account—not to every National Savings scheme. For certificate rates and the terms that determine what you will actually receive, confirm the relevant scheme row and product page before investing or withdrawing.
How to check the latest National Savings rates
-
Open National Savings Pakistan’s official Latest Profit Rates page. Use the official schedule rather than an undated third-party list.
-
Record the schedule’s effective date and the exact scheme name. Rates from schedules with different effective dates should not be compared as though they apply at the same time.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteSpecial offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy. -
Check what the displayed figure represents: an annual rate, a per-period amount, or a maturity schedule. If a rate appears in an image or downloadable file, open that official item and verify its date and scheme label.
-
Open the official page or FAQ for the specific product. Check eligibility, investment limits, profit payment frequency, maturity, early encashment, tax, and Zakat provisions; a headline rate alone does not describe the product.
-
Before acting, recheck the rate schedule and product terms or confirm them with a National Savings Centre. Rates and published terms may change.
National Savings Pakistan’s schedule effective 1 October 2026 stated that Savings Account profit “remains at 10.00% p.a.” The available schedule text did not expose every current scheme rate, so check the official schedule directly for the current certificate and account figures rather than relying on older rate-history entries.

What early withdrawal means for profit
“Encashable” does not necessarily mean penalty-free or that all accrued profit will be paid. The rules differ by scheme:

Eligibility, tax, and Zakat checks
Do not assume every scheme is open to every saver. BSC is limited to specified qualifying categories. PBA and SFWA also have particular eligibility requirements and investment limits, so verify the rules before treating them as available options. General-public eligibility for SSC does not establish eligibility for these restricted schemes.
Tax and Zakat treatment is product-specific and can change. National Savings’ RIC page lists withholding tax of 15% for ATL filers and 30% for non-filers, and says RIC is exempt from Zakat. Its BSC page says withholding tax is not collected on BSC profit and that BSC is exempt from Zakat. Confirm current law and the current product terms before estimating net returns.
Which National Savings scheme pays monthly profit?
The official terms identify RIC and BSC as paying profit monthly. BSC is restricted to qualifying categories, so a reader should not treat it as a general-public alternative to RIC. For PBA, SFWA, and Islamic products, consult the current official product page or FAQ for the payment frequency and applicable conditions.
