On the Google Assistant Lenovo Smart Clock, change the Fahrenheit/Celsius preference in the Google Home app under Home settings → Google Assistant (or Gemini for Home voice assistant) → Your info → Weather. The weather-location setting is less straightforward: Lenovo’s official guidance does not document a reliable, model-specific way to edit the forecast location for this clock, so changing your Home address is not a confirmed fix.
First check which device you have. These instructions apply to the Google Assistant Lenovo Smart Clock (CD-24501F), not the separate Alexa-equipped Smart Clock Essential.
Change the weather unit to Fahrenheit or Celsius
Use the Google account associated with the clock. Google documents this Assistant weather preference in the Google Home app; its separate unified temperature setting does not apply to displays on third-party devices.

Open the Google Home app on your phone or tablet.

Confirm that the selected Google account is the one linked to the Lenovo Smart Clock.

Can you change the weather location?
Lenovo confirms that the Google Assistant Smart Clock is set up through Google Home and linked to a Google account, but its official guidance does not provide a dependable, model-specific sequence for changing the weather location on the original clock. The available documentation therefore does not establish that changing the Home address will change the clock’s forecast.
If the displayed forecast is for the wrong place, first check that Google Home is using the account and home associated with the clock. This is a useful association check, not a guaranteed location fix. Lenovo’s Smart Clock FAQ covers setup and interaction, but does not confirm a specific weather-location edit path.

Make sure you have the Google Assistant model
Lenovo sells distinct products that can be confused by similar names. The Google Home steps above are for the Lenovo Smart Clock (CD-24501F), which has Google Assistant built in. They are not the Alexa-app instructions for the Smart Clock Essential with Alexa Built-in (CD-4N342Y).
For that separate Alexa model, Lenovo’s instructions put measurement units in the Alexa app: More → Settings → Device Settings → [device] → Measurement Units. See Lenovo’s Smart Clock Essential with Alexa FAQ. Do not use that Alexa menu path for the Google Assistant Smart Clock.
