To capture an Amazon.in product price, open the product page, select the option or variant you want, wait for its price to appear, then take a screenshot using your device’s built-in controls. Keep the product name and price together in the frame when possible. If you’re asking, “How do I take a screenshot of an Amazon product page?”, the steps depend on your phone or computer—and a screenshot records only what was displayed at that moment.
Prepare the Amazon.in page so the price has context
- Open the product page in the Amazon shopping app or a browser and wait for it to finish loading.
- Select the size, color, quantity, or other option you intend to record if it changes the displayed price.
- Position the page so the product name and price appear together, if possible. Include relevant context such as the selected option or seller when it matters to your record.
- Take the screenshot using the instructions for your device below.
- Open the saved image and check that the product and price are legible. Crop only if the remaining image still makes clear which product and option the price belongs to.
If the price and product details will not fit together, use an available scrolling or full-page capture on a supported screen, or take multiple overlapping screenshots. A screenshot documents the page as it appeared when captured; it does not guarantee that the offer, seller, delivery eligibility, selected option, or price will remain the same.
Take the screenshot on your device
Android phone
Open the product page and press the Power and Volume Down buttons together. If that does not work, Google’s instructions say to hold the power button for a few seconds and tap Screenshot. Button behavior can vary by manufacturer; consult the phone maker’s instructions if neither method works.

Review the image in Photos or your phone’s Gallery. On Android 12 and later, Google documents a Capture more option for most screens that allow scrolling: take the initial screenshot, tap Capture more, and select additional content. Availability and the exact menu may vary by device and screen.

iPhone
For an iPhone with Face ID, quickly press and release the Side button and Volume Up together. For models with a Home button, Apple documents pressing the Side and Home buttons together; older models with a top button use the Top and Home buttons. Find the result in Photos.
When Apple’s Full Page option is offered, it can capture content beyond the screen—for example, an entire webpage in Safari. Do not assume it is available inside the Amazon shopping app or every browser view.

Mac
Press Shift-Command-5 to open the screenshot controls. Choose to capture the entire screen, a window, or a selected portion, then save the image. For a price record, select an area that retains enough of the Amazon page to identify the item and its displayed price.
Windows
Windows screenshot controls depend on the version and setup. Use the controls documented for your Windows version or consult Microsoft Support; no single shortcut is specified here. Before saving, check that the captured area includes the product identity as well as the price.

When a price or page extends beyond the screen
First try the device’s supported scrolling capture or full-page option, if one is available for that particular screen. Android’s Capture more is documented for Android 12 and later on most scrollable screens; Apple describes full-page capture for supported content such as a Safari webpage. These features are not universal across devices or apps.
If extended capture is unavailable, take two or more screenshots with overlapping content. The shared section helps show that the images represent adjacent parts of the same page. Keep an unedited copy if the screenshot is serving as a record, and avoid cropping away the product name, selected variant, or other context necessary to interpret the price.

Check the saved image and understand what it records
Open the screenshot in Photos, Gallery, or the location used by your computer’s screenshot controls. Confirm that the amount is readable and that the surrounding page identifies the product and relevant option. A saved screenshot is a time-specific image, not a live price check or a guarantee that an offer can still be purchased later.
Amazon India’s shopping guide describes Lightning Deals as limited-time offers that update every few hours, and separately describes Price Drop Alerts for notifications when prices fall. Treat price tracking as a separate option from taking a screenshot, and check Amazon’s current interface for available alert settings.

Use the screenshot to find a product again with Amazon Lens
If the screenshot shows a product you want to identify or locate, Amazon India’s Lens instructions describe uploading an existing image from your camera roll. In the Amazon.in app, tap the Lens icon, choose the upload option, and select the screenshot or photo. Lens can return similar Amazon.in product suggestions. The same instructions also describe taking a camera photo, refining a search with text, and scanning a barcode.
Troubleshooting
- The button combination did not work: On Android, try holding Power and choosing Screenshot, or consult your phone maker’s instructions. On iPhone, confirm which button layout your model has and use the matching combination above.
- The screenshot cuts off the price or product name: Reposition the page and capture again. If content is below the fold, use extended capture only if the device and screen support it, or take overlapping images.
- The saved image is hard to interpret: Retake it with the product title, selected option, and price visible together where possible. Do not crop away the context needed to connect the amount to the product.
- The capture appears blank or fails in the Amazon app: As a practical workaround, try opening the same product page in a regular browser and take a screenshot there. This is not a guaranteed Amazon-specific fix.
- The price no longer matches the screenshot: The image reflects the display at capture time. Reload the product page to see what is currently shown and verify the selected option, seller, and offer.
