A screenshot records what the page showed at that moment; use a price-history or tracking feature to judge how the price changed over time.
Capture a useful product-page screenshot
- Open the intended India marketplace page. Check the product name, model, size, colour, capacity, or other selected variant. Prices for different variants can differ.
- Make the price and product identity legible together. If the page layout allows, include the displayed ₹ price and any seller or delivery details that matter to your comparison.
- Capture the page using your device or browser’s screenshot feature. Use a scrolling or full-page option when you need details below the visible screen.
- Keep the original image with a capture date. A timestamp in the filename or your notes makes the point-in-time record easier to interpret later. The screenshot itself does not establish past prices.
Android: scrolling screenshots
On Android 12 or later, Google says scrolling screenshots work on most screens that allow scrolling. Take a screenshot, tap Capture more, then adjust the crop guidelines to include the relevant product and price details. Device and app support can vary. See Google’s Android screenshot instructions.
Chrome on Android: Long screenshot
Chrome for Android also documents a separate Long screenshot flow from the Share menu. Adjust the crop handles before sharing or saving the result. Availability may vary by app or device; see Chrome’s instructions for sharing pages on Android.
iPhone: Full Page in Safari

Pair the screenshot with price history
For the question “Is this price unusually low?”, use a history or tracking feature alongside the image. The image preserves one displayed price; a history view supplies context over time. History features may cover different stores, time periods, and products, and the sources do not establish that any one option is universally the most accurate or complete.
Amazon India price history
On eligible Amazon product pages, use the price-history link beside the price, or ask Alexa for Shopping about the product’s price history. Amazon describes 30-, 90-, and 365-day views. In an update dated June 24, 2026, Amazon said 365-day insights were rolling out to customers in India, so availability can depend on rollout. Details: Amazon’s price-history guide.

Chrome Shopping Insights and tracking
Google describes Shopping Insights as a way to view product price history and range, and offers Save and track price. Its listed requirements include living in India, signing in to Chrome, syncing tabs and history, and enabling Make searches and browsing better. Keepa for Amazon-focused charts and alerts
Keepa’s Chrome Web Store listing describes product-page charts and price-drop alerts and lists Amazon.in as supported. Its Google Play listing also names India among its supported Amazon locales. - The screenshot omits the price or product name: Adjust the visible page position or use a scrolling/full-page capture, then check that both are readable in the saved image.
- A long screenshot option is missing: Support varies by screen, app, and device. Try the device’s supported screenshot flow or Chrome’s Long screenshot option where available.
- The price differs from another screenshot: Confirm the selected variant and seller, and note any delivery or other displayed context that affects the comparison. Do not treat images of different variants as the same price record.
- You cannot find a price-history link: Amazon describes the feature for eligible product pages; availability may differ. Try Alexa for Shopping or use another history option whose coverage and setup fit your needs.
- Chrome tracking is unavailable: Check that you meet Google’s stated India, sign-in, sync, and personalization-setting requirements.
- A chart does not answer a specific product question: Coverage and completeness for an individual item are not established by the cited tool listings. Treat the chart as context, and preserve your own dated screenshot of the exact page and variant.
