To capture just part of a web page in Nimbus Screenshot, choose Selected Area, drag a rectangle around the region with the left mouse button, then click the checkmark. The screenshot opens in the editor; if it needs no edits, finish with Done.

- Open the web page and choose Selected Area in the Nimbus Screenshot interface.
- Hold down the left mouse button and drag to outline the portion of the page you want.
- Click the checkmark to confirm. Nimbus opens the capture in its editor.
- If you do not need to edit the image, use Done to finish.
Nimbus Screenshot’s help guide gives this instruction for capturing an area. The guide does not list an author or publication date, and interface labels may differ in older or differently branded versions.

Choose the right capture mode
| Mode | What it captures | Use it when |

Nimbus presents these as separate capture modes. Select Selected Area when the boundaries should be your own drawn rectangle.
Repeat the same crop
If you often capture the same region, Nimbus’s settings guide documents Save crop position for Selected Area and Selected and Scroll. With this setting, the next selection can reuse the earlier size and position. It is useful for recurring captures from a consistent layout; if the page content or window position changes, check the selected rectangle before confirming.

Copy a screenshot to the clipboard
Nimbus’s Edge help page says current Chrome and Firefox versions prevent apps from copying pictures directly to the clipboard. Its suggested workaround is to right-click the displayed screenshot and choose Copy image. This guidance is specific to Nimbus’s browser instructions; clipboard behavior can vary with browser version and permissions.
