If you’re already signed in and can view the course page, use your device’s built-in screenshot controls to capture what’s on your screen. Save it for personal study, and check the coaching provider’s terms before copying or sharing course material. A subscription gives access under the provider’s rules; it does not automatically grant permission to reproduce or redistribute the content.
Capture the visible page with your device
Open the course page through the coaching provider’s normal website or app and navigate to the material you’re permitted to view. Use the screenshot control for your device. These steps capture displayed content; they do not download a whole course or bypass a restriction.
Windows 10 and Windows 11
- Press Windows+Shift+S to open the Snipping Tool overlay.
- Choose a rectangular area, window, freeform area, or full screen, then capture the relevant material.
- Open the snip in Snipping Tool and save it where you keep personal study notes.

- Shift-Command-4: drag over the area you want.
- Shift-Command-3: capture the full display.
- Shift-Command-5: open Screenshot controls.
The file normally appears on the desktop unless you changed the save location. Some apps prevent screenshots of their windows; respect that restriction rather than trying to defeat it. See Apple’s instructions for taking a screenshot on Mac.

iPhone
- On Face ID models, quickly press and release the side button and volume-up button together.
- On Home-button models, use the applicable side or top button together with Home.
- Find the capture in Photos.
For supported Safari pages, the Full Page option can capture beyond the current viewport. It is not a guarantee that every app or protected course page supports full-page capture. Apple’s iPhone screenshot instructions describe the controls.
Android
Button combinations and screenshot controls vary by manufacturer and model. Follow the official instructions for your exact device or use its normal screenshot control; do not assume one button combination applies to every Android phone.

Check whether the provider offers an authorized copy
If you need a page for offline study or accessibility, check the course site or app for a provider-supplied download, print, or export option. Whether that option exists for your page is unknown because the coaching provider has not been identified. Prefer a route the provider expressly permits, and follow any limits on storage or use.

Understand the copyright and course-terms limits
India’s Copyright Office describes Section 52(1)(a) of the Copyright Act as allowing fair dealing for “private or personal use, including research,” as well as criticism or review and reporting current events. That exception is not a blanket ruling that every screenshot of paid course content is permitted. The purpose, amount copied, applicable licence and terms, and any later sharing can matter. Section 51 addresses acts without a licence or contrary to licence conditions. See the Copyright Office’s exceptions page and the official-hosted Copyright Act, 1957, Chapter XI, Sections 51–52.
Course terms are also important. For example, SWAYAM says: “Unless otherwise expressly stated on the SWAYAM Site, the texts, exams, video, images, and other instructional materials provided with the courses and programs offered on the SWAYAM Site are for your personal use in connection with those courses and programs only.” That is SWAYAM’s policy, not a rule for an unidentified coaching provider; check the provider’s own terms. If the screenshot does not work
- The page is blocked or the screenshot is black: the app or provider may restrict capture. Do not try to defeat the block; ask the provider about an authorized download or accessible alternative.
- The capture misses content below the screen: device screenshots generally capture the display or selected area. Use a provider-approved export if available; Safari’s Full Page option applies only to supported pages.
- You cannot find the saved image: check the usual destination for your device—Snipping Tool’s save flow on Windows, the configured screenshot location on Mac, or Photos on iPhone.
- You are unsure whether keeping or sharing it is allowed: check the named provider’s terms or ask its support team. Permission to view a subscribed page does not itself establish permission to share a copy.
