For a regular webpage, use desktop Chrome DevTools’ full-size screenshot command. If images or sections load only when you scroll, scroll through the page first, pause for content to appear, then capture and inspect the saved image. A scroll-and-stitch extension can automate traversal, but it may not capture virtualized or effectively infinite pages completely.
Choose the right capture method

Capture a full-size screenshot with Chrome DevTools
- Open the webpage in desktop Chrome and wait for the initial content to settle.
- Open DevTools. Use its command menu to find the full-size screenshot action. Chrome’s UI and command labels can change, so use the command shown by your installed version rather than relying on an old shortcut or exact label.
- If the page has lazy-loaded content, scroll down through the document first. Pause where necessary so images and sections have time to appear. Scroll back up if you need the capture to begin at the top.
- Run the full-size screenshot command and save the image.
- Open the saved file and check the top, middle, and bottom for missing sections, blank image areas, cut-off content, or duplicated seams.
DevTools’ underlying page screenshot capability does not by itself establish that every lazy-loaded element has finished loading. The practical distinction is that a full-size capture records the page’s current state; scrolling first gives scroll-triggered content a chance to load.
When a scrolling capture extension helps
A scrolling extension traverses the page and stitches captures, which can be more convenient than manually scrolling before a DevTools capture. FullPageShot’s Chrome Web Store listing says it captures the current tab and claims support for lazy-loaded images, carousels, and inner-scroll layouts. Treat those as listing claims and verify the resulting image on your page.

Extensions can still struggle with pages that replace off-screen content rather than keeping it in the document. Infinite feeds may have no fixed end, and virtualized interfaces often render only the current viewport. For those cases, capture separate sections or use an export provided by the site. The available sources do not establish one method as a universal winner.
