To capture a webpage from top to bottom on a Chromebook, open the page, click the Awesome Screenshot extension icon, choose Capture, then Full Page. This captures the webpage beyond the part currently visible on screen. It is different from ChromeOS’s built-in full-screen screenshot, which captures the display.
Capture a full webpage with Awesome Screenshot
- Open the webpage you want to save.
- Click the Awesome Screenshot icon in the browser toolbar. Its help article says the icon is typically at the top right.
- Select Capture.
- Select Full Page.
- Follow the extension’s on-screen flow to review or save the capture. The official instructions do not specify the subsequent export controls or file type, so the available choices may depend on the extension flow you see.
The documented sequence is for the Awesome Screenshot Chrome extension and browsers that support Chrome extensions. The instructions do not separately list Chromebook models or guarantee compatibility with every ChromeOS configuration. See the official help article for the extension’s capture instructions.
Full-page capture versus Chromebook screen capture
Use Awesome Screenshot’s Full Page option when you need the webpage from top to bottom. ChromeOS Screen Capture offers full-screen, partial, and window captures; those options select an area of the display rather than documenting the entire webpage as a scrolling page.

Shortcut and image clarity
Awesome Screenshot’s help article says a keyboard shortcut is available but does not state the key combination there. Use the toolbar steps above rather than guessing a shortcut.
The extension’s help center says screenshot resolution mainly depends on the display. Its Resize action changes resolution to meet platform requirements; it does not improve clarity. If a capture looks blurry, resizing it will not sharpen the image.
