To capture an entire Indian university admission page—including content below the visible screen—use your browser’s full-page screenshot option, not a normal screen grab. Firefox has a documented option to save the full page or copy it; Chrome and Edge also offer full-page capture through their browser tools, though labels can vary by version. The page’s being an Indian university portal does not require a different screenshot method.
Firefox: save or copy the whole page
Firefox’s screenshot tool distinguishes between a full-page image and a capture of only the visible area. Mozilla documents these steps in its Firefox screenshot instructions.
- Open the admission page and allow it to load.
- Right-click an empty area of the page, or Control-click on Mac. You can also open the tool with Ctrl+Shift+S on Windows or Linux, or Cmd+Shift+S on Mac.
- Select Take Screenshot if you used the context menu.
- Choose Save full page, rather than Save visible.
- Select Download to save the image in Firefox’s configured download folder, or Copy to place it on the clipboard.
Firefox also has Developer Tools routes: enable Take a screenshot of the entire page under Settings > Available Toolbox Buttons, then use its screenshot icon. In the Web Console, Firefox’s :screenshot helper accepts --fullpage and supports options such as a delay, filename, device pixel ratio, or selector.

Chrome: use DevTools’ Command Menu
Open Chrome DevTools, then press Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows or Linux, or Cmd+Shift+P on Mac. Type screenshot and choose the full-size screenshot command if it appears in your installed version. Chrome’s Command Menu documentation explains how to open the menu and discover commands; its example does not verify the exact full-size screenshot label, so check the wording shown in your browser.

Microsoft Edge: use its Screenshot feature
Microsoft describes Edge’s built-in Screenshot feature as able to capture a full page, including content beyond the viewport. Menu names and locations may change between versions. Look for Screenshot or Web Capture in Edge’s menus and choose its full-page option if available. The exact current menu path is not established here; if you cannot find the control, Firefox’s steps above are the clearest documented alternative.
Choose the right capture and check the result
- Full page versus visible area: A regular screen grab covers only what is currently on screen. Choose Save full page in Firefox or the equivalent full-size/full-page command in another browser.
- Download versus clipboard: Firefox explicitly offers both a downloaded image and a clipboard copy. Choose the output that suits whether you need to attach, archive, or paste the capture.
- Browser availability and discoverability: Use a browser already available to you; Firefox’s control is directly documented, while Chrome’s and Edge’s exact labels can depend on the installed version.
- Review sensitive or changing pages: Check that the resulting image includes the information you intended to capture. Authentication screens, pop-ups, dynamic content, or unusual page layouts may affect what appears; behavior depends on the specific portal and page.
No particular university portal was specified, so there is no portal-specific control to follow. These steps capture the browser page, not an official admission record or confirmation from the university.
