In desktop Chrome, open DevTools, turn on Device Mode, then select More options > Capture a full size screenshot. This saves content beyond the visible viewport; the separate Capture screenshot command captures only what is currently on screen. Before sharing a UPI-related image, check it for private payment or identity details.
Capture the entire page with Chrome DevTools

Open the UPI payment help page in desktop Chrome. Wait for it to load, and expand any help sections you want included.

Open DevTools using Chrome’s DevTools command or menu. If the Device Mode toolbar is not visible, turn on the Device toolbar in DevTools.

Choose a viewport in Device Mode if you want the screenshot to use a particular layout width. Chrome offers responsive widths and device presets; select one that suits how you want the page presented.

In the Device Mode toolbar, open More options and choose Capture a full size screenshot. Chrome saves an image of the page content beyond the visible viewport. Choose Capture screenshot instead only when you want the current viewport.

Open the saved image and check its top, bottom, text legibility, and any sticky or dynamically loaded sections before sending it.
Chrome’s Device Mode documentation describes full-size capture and viewport simulation. Device Mode is a simulation from a desktop computer, not a substitute for checking actual behavior on a phone. Chrome calls it a “first-order approximation”; use a real device when real mobile behavior matters.

When a Chrome extension may help
Chrome’s built-in command is a good first choice because it needs no extension. If the page has nested scrollable areas or embedded frames, GoFullPage is one optional alternative: its Chrome Web Store listing says it captures full pages and supports image or PDF downloads, and advertises handling complex pages. Those are claims on the listing, not independently verified comparative results. Its listing changelog shows version 8.9 dated 2026-09-24. Inspect the output either way; login gates, dynamic content, nested scrolling, and site-specific behavior can affect what appears.
Choose based on whether you can install an extension, whether you need an image or PDF, the viewport you want, and whether the page uses nested panels or frames. For a straightforward full-page image, try Chrome’s built-in capture first.

Protect payment and identity details
Before sharing the screenshot, inspect it for names, phone numbers, UPI IDs, QR codes, transaction references, account identifiers, or other private information. Redact anything unnecessary. A help page may not contain these details, but check the actual image rather than assuming it is safe to forward.
Chrome DevTools’ Privacy and security panel can show the page origin, HTTP security warnings, and certificate details, and can identify a main origin requested over HTTP or show mixed content. This gives browser security context; it does not by itself prove that a payment support page is legitimate. See Chrome’s security panel documentation.

The image is too wide or uses the wrong layout: Set the intended responsive or device viewport in Device Mode before capturing.

A help answer or image is missing: Expand the relevant section and wait for content to load, then capture again. Check the saved file because dynamically loaded content may behave differently.

A panel or embedded area is cut off: The page may use nested scrolling or frames. Inspect the result and consider an extension such as GoFullPage, while treating its capabilities as listing claims rather than a guarantee for every page.

You need to confirm the real phone appearance: Device Mode simulates a viewport; open the page on an actual phone to check device-specific behavior.
