On a desktop, use Firefox’s built-in full-page screenshot or Microsoft Edge’s “Capture full page” option to save content below the visible screen. Wait for the results to load, then inspect the saved image from top to bottom. The exact steps and whether a capture works depend on your browser version and how the university portal displays its results.
Capture the whole results page in Firefox

Open the university results page and wait until the result details and any rows have loaded. Scroll through the page once if content appears as you move down.

Open Firefox Developer Tools settings. Under “Available Toolbox Buttons,” enable “Take a screenshot of the entire page” if it is not already enabled.

Click the full-page screenshot button. Firefox saves the image in the browser’s Downloads directory.

Open the downloaded image and check the top, middle, and bottom for missing content and readable text. Use a different filename for later captures so you do not overwrite an earlier image.
Firefox also documents a Web Console :screenshot helper. Run :screenshot --fullpage to include webpage areas beyond the current window bounds. The helper supports optional parameters such as a delay, device-pixel ratio, filename, and selector; consult Mozilla’s Web Console helpers documentation for syntax and details.

Save the capture and inspect the complete image for legibility and missing sections.

Check that the capture is complete and readable

Check that text is readable at normal zoom, not merely that the image contains the whole page.

If the portal uses an inner scrolling panel or loads rows only as you scroll, a browser’s full-page capture may not include everything. Scroll the panel to load its content and try again. If that still fails, capture the results table or relevant sections separately.

Keep marks and identifiers private
A results page may show a name, roll or registration number, marks, and other identifying details. Keep the capture in a private location. Before sharing it with a teacher, support team, or public forum, crop or cover identifiers that are not needed, then reopen the exported copy to confirm the redaction fully hides them. Keep an unedited copy private if you need it for your own records.

When to use a browser extension
If your browser does not offer a suitable built-in capture, an extension is another possibility, but results pages can contain sensitive personal data. Before installing one, check its developer, current permissions, and data practices, and whether it can capture the specific portal layout. Store listings may make privacy or feature claims; a listing alone does not independently verify them. Built-in Firefox and Edge methods avoid the need to install an extension.
