Short answer: Loki is a Storybook visual-regression tool for capturing and comparing component stories; the available documentation does not show it capturing arbitrary live website URLs. For a full-page screenshot of a Hindi website, use browser automation such as Puppeteer with fullPage: true, then check that Hindi characters render correctly.
What “Loki” means here
This guide uses “Loki” to mean the Storybook visual-regression tool, not Grafana Loki. Storybook’s Loki workflow captures component stories and compares screenshots to identify visual changes; it is not documented here as a tool for navigating to and capturing any public website URL. Can Loki capture a full Hindi website?

If your goal is to check a component as it appears in Storybook, use Loki’s Storybook visual-diff workflow. If your goal is a screenshot of a Hindi website already online, use browser automation instead. Do not treat Puppeteer’s screenshot options as Loki features.
Capture a full-page URL with Puppeteer
A Browserless deployment guide demonstrates a Puppeteer flow that navigates to a URL and requests a full-page screenshot with fullPage: true. The example below shows the essential capture steps using locally installed Puppeteer; it is a separate browser-automation route, not a Loki integration. Install Puppeteer in a Node.js project with npm install puppeteer, then save this as capture.js:

The cited instructions do not establish Hindi font availability, font-loading behavior, or a special Loki setting for Hindi. Open the resulting PNG and inspect the Devanagari text directly: look for missing glyph boxes, substituted characters, clipped marks, or incorrectly shaped conjuncts. A successful navigation and screenshot call alone does not prove that the page’s text rendered correctly.

When the basic capture needs adjustment
- Page content is incomplete: some sites load content as you scroll or after interaction. The cited example establishes full-page capture, not that every lazy-loaded or dynamic element will appear; inspect the output and handle the site’s loading behavior explicitly if needed.
