To capture a Hindi webpage from top to bottom with Urlbox, request a PNG with full_page=true and keep the default stitch mode and pre-capture scrolling enabled. Then inspect the top, middle and bottom of the image: a complete capture can still show missing lazy-loaded content or Hindi characters rendered in a fallback font.
How to take a full-page screenshot in Urlbox
Use the page’s publicly accessible URL and an authenticated Urlbox API request. This conceptual JSON request shows the key options; it is not a tested render result. Urlbox accepts a URL or HTML payload, but for a live webpage, use url.

Urlbox’s full-page option defaults to stitch: it scrolls through the page, captures sections and joins them into one image. Urlbox describes this mode as triggering animations and lazy-loaded elements while freezing fixed and sticky elements. Its alternative, native, is faster but may not work well on every site and is optimized for speed over accuracy. Start with stitch when completeness matters.
Urlbox also scrolls to the bottom by default before capture to trigger lazy-loaded content and measure the final scrollable height. Avoid setting skip_scroll=true for the first attempt: it saves the preparation step but can leave content that only appears during scrolling out of the result.

Choose PNG for a long page
Urlbox recommends PNG for full-page use when image-size limits matter because it documents dimension ceilings for JPEG and WebP. Choose PNG for the initial capture, then consider another format only if its limits suit the resulting page.
Check the whole image
Review the top, middle and bottom rather than judging the capture from its first screen. Confirm that the last section is present, sections join cleanly, and the Hindi text uses the intended glyphs. A full-page request is not by itself proof that every late-loading element appeared or that the intended font loaded.

How to avoid cutting off scroll-loaded content
If lower sections or images are missing, keep stitch mode and the default pre-scroll enabled. In stitch mode, Urlbox documents scroll_increment and scroll_delay as controls that can help trigger actions such as lazy loading and animations. Try a smaller increment or a longer delay when the page needs more time or more frequent scroll events to reveal content.
For late-loading content, use a wait condition or a wait_for selector that matches an element actually present in the page’s DOM. The options reference lists loaded as the default wait event and a default wait_timeout of 30,000 ms. A selector that never appears does not fail the render unless failure is configured for that case, so inspect the output instead of assuming that a requested wait guaranteed the element was ready. When debugging joins, set show_seams=true to expose the component sections and inspect where they meet. If speed matters more than the most cautious capture, you can compare the result with native; check for missing or misaligned content before relying on it.
Why Hindi letters may look wrong in the screenshot
A capture can include the full page while still displaying boxes, fallback glyphs or a different-looking Hindi typeface. Check whether the source page itself has loaded its intended font, then allow for the page’s font and content to finish loading using an appropriate wait condition or selector. Urlbox’s options include CSS controls, but a CSS change should be based on the page’s actual font setup rather than an assumed Devanagari fix.

Urlbox’s March 14, 2022 article says, “Rendering web fonts at a URL just works with Urlbox.” That is a general vendor statement about web fonts; it is not a Hindi- or Devanagari-specific guarantee, nor does it establish that every font host will work. Visually verify the actual screenshot and avoid assuming a setting will fix glyphs without checking the page.
Other capture options that can affect the result
- Viewport: Set

wait_untilcondition, or wait for a real page element withwait_for. Use a timeout that gives the page enough time to settle. - Consent banners: Urlbox recommends

stitchwhen accuracy is the priority; considernativewhen speed is more important and the page has been checked. - Scrolling: Keep the default scroll to prepare lazy-loaded pages. Set
skip_scroll=trueonly when that preparation is unnecessary and saving time is worth the trade-off. - Format: Use PNG for long full-page captures where JPEG or WebP dimension ceilings could be a problem.

show_seams=trueto inspect how captured sections were joined.
Troubleshooting a Urlbox Hindi-page capture
