To capture a cookie banner in Gujarati, open the Indian website in desktop Chrome, translate the page using Chrome’s Translate control, leave the banner untouched, and capture the visible browser view in DevTools. Check the saved image to confirm the banner and Gujarati text are readable. Translation can change what the page displays, so capture the original-language version too if you need to document the wording as served by the website.

Translate the website into Gujarati without dismissing the banner

  1. Open the exact website page in desktop Chrome and let it load. If you need the first-visit consent prompt, do not select Accept, Reject, or settings before taking the screenshot. Check that a banner is actually present; sites differ in when and how they show consent prompts.

  2. Use Chrome’s Translate control at the right of the address bar, or right-click the page and choose Translate. Select Gujarati from the language choices. Chrome’s labels and controls may vary by platform or version. If translation does not take effect, refresh the page as Chrome Help recommends. Chrome Help: Translate pages and change Chrome languages.

  3. Check that the banner remains visible and that its text is legible. Translation changes the rendered page and may not translate every interface element. If you need the original wording or the consent controls exactly as the site served them, take a separate screenshot before translating and label the two images clearly; a browser-translated image is not proof of the original legal wording.

Capture the banner in Chrome DevTools

  1. Open Chrome DevTools and turn on the device toolbar. Open its More options menu.

  2. Choose Capture screenshot to save the current viewport. This is generally the more direct choice when the evidence needed is the banner as it appears in the visible browser view.

  3. Choose Capture a full size screenshot instead if you need the entire page, including content outside the viewport. Chrome documents both capture scopes: the ordinary screenshot saves the current viewport, while the full-size option includes the rest of the page. Chrome DevTools: Capture screenshots; Chrome for Developers: DevTools screenshot options.

  4. Open the saved image and confirm that the banner, enough surrounding page context, and Gujarati text are all visible and readable. If the banner disappeared or moved, return to the page and check its state before capturing again.

Choose viewport or full-page capture

Capture Use it for What it records
Visible viewport A banner-state record The content currently visible in the browser viewport.
Full size Whole-page context The page including content outside the current viewport.

A full-page image is not automatically better evidence: use the scope that includes the banner and the context your record needs. Chrome’s DevTools Protocol also describes screenshot capture, viewport clipping, image formats, and capture beyond the viewport for automated workflows: Page.captureScreenshot.

Or skip the browser setup

ScreenshotNeo can return a website screenshot with one GET request. Its clean-shot options accept cookie or consent banners like a visitor and remove more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets; each step can be turned off. For a banner you need to document, configure the capture so the banner is not removed.

For example, this cURL request saves a WebP capture of the target page. Replace the URL with the Indian website page you need and supply your API key. See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for parameters and response details.
