For a practical Havoc Rover build, start with five-piece Havoc Eclipse, a CRIT 4-cost Echo, Havoc DMG on at least one 3-cost, and ATK% on both 1-costs. Build enough Energy Regen to use Resonance Liberation reliably, then prioritize CRIT substats. Weapon rankings differ by guide: choose from what you own rather than treating one ranking as universal.
How Havoc Rover’s combat loop works
Havoc Rover builds Umbra through Normal Attacks, Resonance Skill, and Intro Skill, up to a maximum of 100. At full Umbra, hold Basic Attack to cast Devastation and enter Dark Surge. In Dark Surge, Rover’s Basic and Heavy Attacks are enhanced or replaced, and Wingblade changes into Lifetaker. This makes building Umbra and entering Dark Surge the central sequence around which the damage rotation is organized. The parsed game reference describes these kit interactions.
Which Echo set and stats should you use?
Use five-piece Havoc Eclipse as the baseline. The slot setup below follows the detailed recommendations from wuwabuild; for the 3-cost slots, one Havoc DMG main stat is the fixed choice and the second can be Havoc DMG or ATK%.
| Echo cost | Recommended main stat |
|---|---|
| 4-cost | CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG |
| 3-cost | Havoc DMG |
| 3-cost | Havoc DMG or ATK% |
| 1-cost | ATK% |
| 1-cost | ATK% |
For substats, the same guide prioritizes Energy Regen until you have enough for your rotation, then CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG in balance, followed by ATK%, flat ATK, Basic DMG%, and Liberation DMG%. The source does not give a universal Energy Regen target, so treat sufficiency as a rotation and account-dependent threshold rather than a fixed number.

Gaming ProMax’s guide, updated June 8, 2026 for patch 3.4, also lists Sun-sinking Eclipse as an option and recommends Dreamless as the main Echo. Those are alternate guide recommendations, not evidence from a controlled comparison proving one setup superior. See its Havoc Rover build guide.
Which weapon should you use?
There is no single guide consensus on the top sword. The recommendations below are guide-specific; in practice, availability and the weapon’s fit with your playstyle matter.

| Weapon choice | Guide recommendation and context |
|---|---|
| Red Spring | wuwabuild ranks it first, ahead of Blazing Brilliance, Emerald of Genesis, and Somnoire Anchor. It describes Red Spring as Camellya’s signature weapon, with ATK%, CRIT Rate, and Basic Attack DMG useful to other sword users; its largest bonus depends on spending Concerto. Its relative weapon percentages come from calculations, and the guide notes that some benefits cannot be quantified. |
| Emerald of Genesis | Gaming ProMax’s guide, updated June 8, 2026 for patch 3.4, ranks it first and lists Commando of Conviction as its free-to-play alternative. |
| Commando of Conviction | A lower-access barrier alternative in Gaming ProMax’s patch 3.4 recommendations; that is not a claim that it outperforms a suitable higher-ranked weapon you already own. |
A separate WuWaBuilds reference reports Emerald of Genesis on 58% of its top 12 ranked Rover builds and a median Crit Value of 216 for that same small leaderboard sample. Those figures describe only 12 ranked builds, not the wider player base or a universal weapon advantage. WuWaBuilds’ Rover build reference.

Which team should you use?
Published guides provide several team examples, but no controlled damage comparison establishes a universally best lineup. Choose by roster, healing needs, and whether you prefer a dedicated on-field carry or a quicker rotation.

| Havoc Rover, Sanhua, Baizhi | An alternative with Baizhi in the lineup when you want a healer option. | Listed by wuwabuild. |
| Havoc Rover, Roccia, Shorekeeper | A patch-framed option combining Roccia with Shorekeeper’s support role. | Included in Gaming ProMax’s patch 3.4 recommendations. |
| Havoc Rover, Sanhua, Shorekeeper | An alternative sourced lineup if Sanhua and Shorekeeper are the supports available to you. | Included in Gaming ProMax’s patch 3.4 recommendations. |
Which skills should you level first?
For a general damage-focused build, wuwabuild’s priority is Resonance Liberation, Forte Circuit, and Resonance Skill first, followed by Basic Attack and Intro Skill. Gaming ProMax gives different priorities for hypercarry and quickswap play, so skill order can vary with how often Rover stays on field. These are third-party guide recommendations, not an official Kuro Games priority order.
What do Havoc Rover’s sequences change?
The parsed game-reference descriptions summarize the sequence effects as follows:
Rank #4
- Changli characters from the popular game "W-W"
- Figure is carefully crafted to restore the look of the game in action expressions
- Made of high quality PVC material that does not emit a pungent smell
- Figures are 1/6 scale and are the focal point of the tabletop
- If you have any questions about the product, please contact us and we will reply within 24 hours
- S1: Increases Resonance Skill DMG Bonus by 30%.
- S2: Resets Resonance Skill cooldown when Devastation puts Rover into Dark Surge.
- S3: Restores HP when Dark Surge Basic Attack Stage 5 hits.
- S4: Reduces enemy Havoc RES by 10% for 20 seconds after Devastation or Resonance Liberation hits.
- S5: Adds a damage instance equal to 50% of Basic Attack Stage 5 damage.
- S6: Increases CRIT Rate by 25% in Dark Surge.
Gaming ProMax identifies S2 as the most impactful node; that is the guide’s judgment, not a universal ranking established by comparative testing.
How much should you invest in upgrades?
wuwabuild states that Ascension requires 46 Mysterious Code and that Ascension plus all Forte nodes costs 1,750,000 Shell Credits. These are the page’s stated figures, accessed in 2026, and may be version-sensitive. Check the source page for its upgrade details.

How to choose between these recommendations
- Start with the Havoc Eclipse Echo setup and focus on a CRIT 4-cost, Havoc DMG on a 3-cost, and ATK% on both 1-costs.
- Use the weapon that best fits your roster: the guides disagree on whether Red Spring or Emerald of Genesis leads, and one lists Commando of Conviction as an accessible alternative.
- Choose one of the listed teams based on characters you own and whether you need the healer or support options it provides.
- Use the Umbra-to-Devastation-to-Dark Surge sequence as the rotation’s organizing principle, then adjust Energy Regen and skill investment to your playstyle.
These recommendations come from third-party guides, including one explicitly updated for patch 3.4 on June 8, 2026. The sources do not establish an official current meta verdict or a controlled best-build comparison.
