Build a small, mobile-friendly website that explains who you are, what you stream, when you are live, and where people can watch or contact you. Start with a clear purpose, choose a builder that suits your upkeep and domain needs, then publish only the pages you can keep current. Your site should complement Twitch, YouTube, or other channels—not duplicate every feature they already provide.
What to put on a streamer website
A first version does not need to be large. Make the next step obvious for visitors: understand your content, find your streams, and reach you.
- Home: State what you stream and who is likely to enjoy it. Feature a clear link to your main channel and, if useful, a selected clip or video.
- About: Introduce yourself and your channel in a few useful details.
- Watch or Clips: Point to selected videos, highlights, or guides. Use embeds only where the platform permits and make sure they work on mobile.
- Schedule: Show the next stream time or link to your current schedule. Update it when plans change.
- Contact or Business: Provide a working route for viewers, collaborators, or potential sponsors.
- Community or Shop (optional): Add these only when you have an active community destination or a real offer to sell.
Twitch already provides channel branding, a bio and social links, a schedule, a trailer, and info panels. A separate site is most useful as a stable hub across platforms, while your Twitch channel page remains the place for Twitch-specific viewing and discovery. See Twitch’s Channel Page Setup guide and Creator Dashboard overview for the platform’s channel and creator tools.
Choose how to build it
For a low-maintenance site, a hosted website builder can bring visual editing, hosting, domain connection, and optional commerce tools together. If you want more control over code or hosting, compare that flexibility with the technical upkeep it requires. Wix and Squarespace document website workflows and creator-oriented features, but those descriptions are not an independent test or a universal ranking.

#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- Setup and upkeep: Decide whether visual editing and managed hosting matter more than control over the underlying site.
- Domain and portability: Check custom-domain requirements, renewal costs, and whether you can transfer the domain or export your content if you leave.
- Publishing workflow: Make sure you can easily update clips, guides, announcements, and schedule details.
- Commerce: Look for merchandise, memberships, gated content, donations, or bookings only if you have a concrete use for them.
- Total recurring cost: Account for the plan, domain renewal, payment or transaction fees, email, and add-ons. Prices and plan details change, so check current terms before choosing.
- Mobile presentation: Preview the pages on a phone; visitors often arrive through social apps.
Wix says its free URL retains the wixsite.com/siteaddress portion and that connecting a custom domain requires an upgraded plan; see Wix’s domain-connection guidance. Squarespace describes creator use cases that include memberships, ecommerce, branded email, and content tools at Squarespace for creators. Check each provider’s current plan terms for the features and prices available to you.
Build and publish in a practical order
- Decide the site’s job. Choose whether it is mainly a link hub, searchable archive, community-update page, business contact page, or shop. A new site can do one or two jobs well before it grows.
- Settle on a public name and domain. Use a name consistent with your creator identity, easy to say aloud, and not easily confused with another creator or brand. Check spelling before you publish it on stream or social profiles.
- Select a platform for your actual needs. Compare maintenance, custom-domain terms, content workflow, portability, mobile presentation, and any commerce features you will use. Avoid paying for capabilities you do not need yet.
- Create the core pages. Start with Home, About, Watch or Clips, Schedule, and Contact or Business. Add Community or Shop only if there is something current to put there.
- Connect your creator profiles. Link your main Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, or other public destinations. Make the next live time easy to find and feature only content you have permission to use.
- Review on mobile and for clarity. Check that text is readable, navigation is easy to understand, links have descriptive labels, and images have useful descriptions where appropriate. These are practical checks, not a claim that the site has passed a formal accessibility audit.
- Test before sharing. Open every channel, social, contact, and video link. Confirm that contact details work and that any embedded content displays as intended.
- Maintain it. Remove stale announcements, update schedule changes, and keep the contact route working. A small, current site is more useful than a large site full of outdated information.
Connect the site to Twitch without duplicating it
Use your Twitch channel page for its on-platform context: channel identity, social links, schedule, trailer, and info panels. Use your website for a consistent destination that can point visitors to Twitch and your other active channels. Keep the two connected with clear links, but make sure a visitor can understand your site even if they have not opened Twitch.

If you publish sponsorships or other branded content on Twitch, Twitch says qualifying creators must use its branded-content disclosure tool and ensure promoted products or services are permitted. A Twitch disclosure tool is not a substitute for disclosures that may apply to a separate website. Review Twitch’s branded-content policy and applicable rules for your situation.
Twitch’s Terms of Service place responsibility on creators to own or control rights to user content, or otherwise have authority to grant the rights, and to meet applicable obligations for promotions.
