To keep Telugu videos playing as a continuous YouTube Live feed, use an encoder to send a playlist of prerecorded files to a YouTube stream. Create or select a stream in YouTube Studio, add its server URL and stream key to an encoder, configure the playlist there, then preview and start the broadcast. The playlist and encoder create the feed; YouTube receives it and presents it as a live broadcast.
How the YouTube Live setup works
YouTube’s guidance describes an encoder as software or hardware that converts video into a digital format for streaming. The encoder sends the audio-video feed to YouTube using the stream’s connection details. In YouTube’s terminology, the stream carries the feed, while the broadcast is the event or video viewers watch. For a simple continuous playlist, you need a player or encoder that can advance through your files and keep sending the feed; managing API broadcasts is not required.
Telugu is the content language, not a separate YouTube Live mode. Playlist support, file compatibility, subtitle rendering and audio-track handling depend on the encoder and the files, so check the selected tool’s instructions and test with the actual videos before leaving the feed unattended.

- Enable live streaming. Sign in to YouTube and follow the live-stream setup process for your channel. YouTube says first-time live streaming enablement may take up to 24 hours, so complete this step before the intended start time. See YouTube’s encoder setup guide.
- Choose where the playlist will run. Install an encoder or playlist-capable streaming tool on a computer you can keep available, or choose a hosted service. YouTube lists OBS Studio as open-source software available at no charge and also lists Gyre as a cloud-based service for 24/7 prerecorded-video streaming. The listing does not establish a specific Telugu playlist configuration or endorse either tool.
- Create or select a stream in YouTube Studio. Open YouTube Studio’s live-stream setup and create or choose the stream that will receive the feed. Copy the server URL and stream key shown for that stream; the exact labels and screen layout can change.
- Configure the encoder connection. Paste the server URL and stream key into the encoder’s YouTube or custom streaming destination fields. Treat the stream key as a password: do not publish it, put it in a public script or share it with anyone who does not need access. If it is exposed, replace it in YouTube Studio and update the encoder.
- Add the Telugu videos as a playlist. Use the encoder’s playlist or media-source controls to add the files in the intended order and configure whether playback repeats. The YouTube setup guide does not prescribe a playlist format or a Telugu-specific procedure; consult the chosen encoder’s documentation for its supported file types and playlist behavior.
- Check the feed before going live. Start the encoder’s preview or connect without making the broadcast public, if the selected workflow supports it. Confirm that the correct video plays, Telugu audio and any subtitle or on-screen text render as intended, and the next file begins at the first file’s end. Correct any gaps, black frames, missing audio or unsupported files before continuous operation.
- Start the broadcast and monitor it. Start sending the feed from the encoder, then start or confirm the broadcast in YouTube Studio as prompted. Check that YouTube receives the expected picture and sound. Keep the playlist source, computer and network available for as long as the local encoder is responsible for the feed.
Choose local encoding or hosted streaming
A local encoder gives you direct control over the files and the playlist, but the computer, storage and network carrying the feed must remain available. A hosted service can avoid dedicating a home computer to the job, but you should verify its file support, playlist behavior, restart and recovery process, stream-key handling, logs, cost and service terms before relying on it. No comparative reliability or price figures are established here.

YouTube lists Gyre as a cloud-based option for 24/7 streaming of prerecorded video. That listing does not confirm its current pricing, exact Telugu-file playlist options or how it handles a failed file transition. Check the service directly rather than treating the YouTube listing as a product endorsement.

Advanced option: automate broadcast management with the API
For developers managing scheduled or recurring events, YouTube separates broadcasts from streams: a broadcast represents the event viewers watch, while a stream defines and carries the audio-video feed. YouTube’s API guide explains that one stream can be reused for recurring broadcasts and describes a 24/7 setup in which one broadcast remains live while a second is begun and ended using the same stream. This is an event-lifecycle pattern, not a playlist player. Your application still needs a media source and encoder to produce the continuous feed.
Use the YouTube Live Streaming API guide to broadcasts and streams and the API reference for lifecycle details. A single-feed playlist usually does not need this added complexity.

Protocol and archive considerations
You do not need HLS for an ordinary continuous playlist unless your chosen encoder or protocol requirements call for it. YouTube’s HLS instructions require transport-stream (TS) segments and a rolling playlist with no more than five outstanding segments; segment duration must be between 1 and 4 seconds. YouTube also says HLS has higher latency than RTMP. Follow the protocol-specific instructions only when you are actually configuring an HLS encoder: YouTube’s HLS setup guide.
YouTube’s encoder help page says streams shorter than 12 hours are automatically archived. Do not assume a continuous stream lasting 12 hours or more will produce one automatic archive under that rule. If you need a recording, arrange separate local or cloud recording and verify the result.

Prevent common failures
- The encoder cannot connect: Check that the server URL and stream key belong to the selected YouTube stream, that the channel is enabled for live streaming, and that the encoder is online. Replace a leaked key and update the encoder with the new one.
- The feed stops at a file boundary: Test playlist advancement with the actual files before going live. Confirm the tool supports their formats and that repeat or next-file behavior is configured as intended.
- Telugu audio, captions or text are missing: Preview each relevant track and on-screen element. If a file has multiple audio or subtitle tracks, confirm the encoder selects the intended one; behavior depends on the tool.
- The local stream ends when unattended: A self-hosted encoder depends on the computer and network remaining available. Check power and sleep settings, storage access and network stability, or use a hosted approach whose recovery behavior and terms you have verified.
- One long live session does not produce the expected archive: YouTube’s stated automatic archive rule is for streams under 12 hours. Plan another recording method for longer sessions.
Rights and channel policy checks
Before rebroadcasting, confirm that you have the rights needed for every video and audio asset in the playlist. This is especially important for devotional recordings, film or television clips, music and material obtained from other channels. Keep a record of permissions or licenses. Replaying prerecorded content as a live feed does not itself establish that you have permission to use it, and this workflow is not a guarantee of monetization or channel-policy eligibility. Review the terms that apply to your content and account before streaming continuously.
