Adjust the Nacon Revolution 5 Pro’s stick response in the companion app by customizing an Advanced-mode profile. Nacon’s documented dead-zone option is FPS Pro mode, which disables a joystick’s dead zone but can expose drift. Nacon’s available guidance does not specify numeric sensitivity or dead-zone values, so make small in-app changes and test them in your game rather than relying on universal settings.
Set up the controller for profile editing
- Install the official Revolution 5 Pro companion app from Nacon’s product support and download page.
- Connect the controller to a PC or Mac. Set its Mode switch to Wired, its Platform switch to PS5 or PS4, and its Advanced/Classic switch to Advanced.
- Open the app and follow its on-screen instructions to customize an Advanced profile. Adjust response gradually, then check the feel in the game you play.
- Exit the app to save. Nacon warns that turning off or disconnecting the controller before exiting prevents the changes from saving.

What you can change—and what is not specified
Nacon describes the app as providing extensive customization and directs owners to it for editing Advanced profiles. The official guidance available here does not establish exact numeric stick-sensitivity or dead-zone controls, their app labels, or value ranges. Check the current app interface rather than assuming a particular slider or copying an unverified numeric setup.
A dead zone is the amount of stick movement around center that a game or controller ignores. Reducing it can make small movements register sooner, but can also make unintended movement more noticeable if a stick does not settle exactly at center. The documented Revolution 5 Pro option related to dead zones is FPS Pro mode.

Use FPS Pro carefully to reduce the dead zone
Nacon says FPS Pro mode deactivates the joystick dead zone. That can make a stick more responsive around center, but may reveal drift if the stick does not return exactly to center. Nacon advises against activating FPS Pro on both joysticks at the same time. Try it on one stick, check for unwanted movement, and decide whether the trade-off suits your game.
Nacon’s support article, updated June 11, 2026, also says a previously reported Y-axis inversion issue that caused drift had been resolved several months before that update and advises keeping firmware current. It does not identify a current firmware version in the cited material. For firmware instructions, use Nacon’s current product support and download page rather than relying on an unverified version or procedure.

Choose a starting Advanced profile
The controller has four preloaded Advanced profiles. Nacon’s descriptions explain their intended response characteristics; they are manufacturer descriptions, not independent performance tests or guarantees.

A practical tuning sequence
- Choose the closest preloaded profile for the game, or select a profile to customize.
- Change one stick or response setting at a time in the app, using small adjustments. The available official guidance does not establish exact slider names or numerical targets.
- Test in the game, paying attention to whether small inputs register as intended and whether the stick moves without input.
- If you want to test zero-dead-zone behavior, enable FPS Pro on only one stick and check for drift before deciding whether to keep it.
- Exit the app before switching off or disconnecting the controller so the profile changes save.
