To show a property’s asking price over the video, add an editable text overlay in your streaming software, such as an OBS text source. For a simpler alternative, post the price in YouTube Live Chat and pin it. Include a listing name or number with every amount, then update both together when the tour moves to another property.
Choose where the price should appear

For a price that should remain visible while viewers watch the property, use an overlay. OBS lets you add text sources to a scene; its documentation does not provide a real-estate-specific template. See the OBS Text Sources guide and OBS Sources Guide.
Add a ₹ price overlay in OBS
- Prepare the label. Write the amount with the rupee symbol (₹) and pair it with a short listing name or number—for example, “Listing 04 · ₹85,00,000.” Use a clear amount style and confirm the figure against your listing details.
- Open the scene carrying the property feed. In OBS, select the scene used for the live property footage. In the Sources panel, add a text source and enter the price label. OBS documents text sources and scene sources, but does not prescribe a particular layout for property listings.
- Position and size the text. Place the label where it can be read without obscuring important parts of the property. Check it against the actual footage, since a position that works over one room or exterior may be hard to read over another.
- Preview before going live. Confirm that the rupee symbol, amount, and listing identifier are legible and correct in the scene preview.
- Update it as the tour advances. Edit the text source when you switch properties. Verify that the displayed amount and identifier both match the current listing before continuing.
Keep the price in its own editable text layer rather than baking it into the footage. That makes it easier to correct or change the label without rebuilding the scene.

Post and pin the price in Live Chat instead
- Open Live Chat for your stream and send a short message with the listing identifier and asking price.
- Pin your message using YouTube’s Live Chat controls. YouTube Help says, “You can pin your own message or a viewer’s message in Live Chat.” Only the creator can pin a message, and only one message can be pinned at a time. See YouTube Help: Use Live Chat during your live stream or Premiere.
- When you move to another property, replace the pinned message with the new listing identifier and price.
YouTube limits Live Chat messages to 200 characters and does not allow URLs or HTML tags in them. Keep the pinned price concise; these limits are described in YouTube Help: Live streams.

What not to confuse with a property price
A YouTube Super Chat amount is what a viewer paid for a highlighted chat message; it is not a field for a property’s asking price. Google’s Live Streaming API documents currency and amount-display fields for Super Chat purchases. For the listing price, use your own text overlay or an ordinary chat message. YouTube does not automatically format a creator-entered listing price or verify that it is accurate. The overlay and pinned-message approaches describe ways to display information, not a legal disclosure standard for Indian property listings. Confirm the amount and any required disclosures independently.
