Samsung says to recalibrate the Galaxy Watch blood pressure feature every 28 days using a separate upper-arm blood pressure cuff. You can recalibrate sooner in Samsung Health Monitor; follow the calibration status and prompts shown in your app.
How often does Samsung require recalibration?
Recalibrate every 28 days. This is Samsung’s stated interval, not an approximate monthly schedule. Samsung Australia says the watch cannot take blood pressure measurements after 28 days have passed since its last calibration. Samsung Australia’s recalibration guidance
Your app may indicate when calibration is due. If its displayed status or current prompts differ from the instructions below, follow the prompts for your local app version.

- A separate upper-arm cuff-based blood pressure monitor. Samsung’s US support instructions say the cuff is sold separately.
- Your Galaxy Watch and the phone paired with it, with Samsung Health Monitor installed and available in your region.
Samsung does not identify a preferred cuff model in the cited instructions. Choose an upper-arm monitor with a cuff that fits you; where applicable, consider whether the device has validation or certification recognized in your jurisdiction.
