Bulk website screenshot APIs can cost anywhere from a few dollars a month to hundreds or more, depending on volume and billing model. Public vendor examples include $79 per month for 50,000 captures from ScreenshotInk and $500 per month for 625,000 from Site-Shot; a ScreenshotAPI prepaid option advertises an effective $0.0008 per shot at certain pack sizes. These are vendor-listed USD prices checked on October 3, 2026—not a market average or guaranteed checkout quote. Compare the cost at your own monthly volume, and check what counts as a billable capture and how quickly the service can finish the batch.

What bulk screenshot API pricing looks like

There is no single standard price per screenshot. Providers sell monthly quotas, prepaid credits, metered usage, and—in some cases—custom enterprise capacity. Their definitions of a capture, included throughput, and storage also differ, so a headline price alone does not tell you what a bulk run will cost.

The examples below are USD prices advertised on providers’ public pricing pages, checked October 3, 2026. Pricing can change; confirm the live plan and checkout terms before committing.

Provider Advertised price and allowance Bulk or billing detail
ScreenshotNeo Free: 1,000 shots/month with no card. Paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 shots; other listed plans are $15 for 15,000, $39 for 60,000, $99 for 250,000, and $249 for 1,000,000. Yearly billing gives two months free. Bulk capture supports up to 100 URLs per call, and async jobs are available. Failed loads, blank pages, bot checks/CAPTCHAs, and cache hits are not billed. All features are on every plan. See pricing and billing details.
Site-Shot X-Lite: $5/month for 2,000 screenshots; Lite: $15/month for 10,000; Optimal: $50/month for 50,000; Professional: $500/month for 625,000. Listed overages are $0.0025, $0.0015, $0.001, and $0.0008 per screenshot respectively. Listed dedicated workers are 10, 10, 25, and 100. Saved-image capacity is separate from the monthly capture allowance; deleting an image frees storage but does not restore capture credits. Site-Shot pricing.
ScreenshotOne 100 free screenshots/month; Basic: $17/month for 2,000 screenshots. Basic lists 40 requests per minute and $0.009 per extra screenshot. The vendor says it charges only for successful requests. ScreenshotOne pricing.
ScreenshotInk Scale: $79/month for 50,000 captures. Bulk runs support up to 20 URLs per run; additional credits are advertised at $5 per 1,000 captures. ScreenshotInk pricing.
ScreenshotAPI Metered billing is advertised at $0.001 per shot. Prepaid options shown are 2,000 for $2, 5,000 for $5, 10,000 for $9, 25,000 for $22, 50,000 for $40, and 100,000 for $80. The 50,000- and 100,000-shot packs work out to $0.0008 per shot at the listed pack prices. The pricing extract differed on the free quota, so verify the live page rather than relying on a precise free allowance. ScreenshotAPI pricing.
WebsiteScreenshot.io Flexible package starts at $3/month for 1,000 credits. Additional screenshots are listed at $0.003 each; the paid flexible package includes website/API access. Enterprise pricing is custom. WebsiteScreenshot.io pricing.
Add Screenshots The provider advertises a self-serve range up to 1.5 million screenshots for $2,406/month; its result also advertises 100 screenshots/month on the free plan. The full tier table was not available in the pricing extract, so treat the scale amount as an advertised example, not a quote for a specific volume. The provider says plans include all capture regions and have no concurrency caps. Verify the exact slider quote. Add Screenshots pricing.

These figures are not directly interchangeable: one provider may charge by successful render, another by request or prepaid credit, and a high-volume plan may include workers or storage limits that affect whether it suits your deadline.

Estimate your cost at your expected volume

Start with the actual workload, not a provider’s lowest advertised unit rate. Count each URL-device-locale combination as a separate capture if your job needs multiple variants of each page.

  1. Estimate monthly requests. Multiply the number of URLs by captures per URL, including viewport, device, or locale variants. Add a realistic retry allowance if your workflow retries uncertain or failed results.
  2. Identify the billing unit. Confirm whether the plan uses a monthly quota, prepaid credits, pay-as-you-go requests, or billable successful renders. Do not assume a retry or failed request is free unless the provider says so.
  3. Apply the plan and overage rules. For a quota plan, use the plan cost plus billable captures beyond the included allowance. For metered usage, multiply expected billable captures by the current rate. For prepaid packs, divide the pack price by its included shots to compare unit cost.
  4. Account separately for capacity. Check storage, retention, concurrency, requests per minute, batch limits, and any paid retry or proxy capacity. A low per-shot price may still miss a deadline if it cannot run enough captures at once.
  5. Compare effective cost per successful capture. Divide the expected monthly spend by the captures you expect to complete successfully. Keep included-plan averages and overage rates distinct; they answer different questions.

For example, ScreenshotAPI’s listed $40 pack for 50,000 shots implies $0.0008 per shot if all included shots are used. That is a simple pack-price calculation, not a claim about its success rate, expiry, or fit for a particular workload; confirm those terms on its live pricing page.

Check the factors that change the real bulk cost

Billing unit and failure policy

Ask what counts as billable: an API request, a successful screenshot, or a consumed credit. ScreenshotOne says it charges only for successful requests. ScreenshotNeo says bot checks/CAPTCHAs, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits cost nothing, and each response includes X-Page-Verdict and X-Billed headers. Those are provider-specific policies, not a general industry rule.

Storage is not necessarily capture quota

Site-Shot describes saved-image capacity separately from monthly capture allowance. Its pricing page says deleting a stored image frees library capacity but does not replenish capture credits. Check retention and deletion rules anywhere you plan to keep rendered files.

Throughput and deadline

Compare requests per minute, concurrent workers or renders, maximum batch size, and whether asynchronous jobs can queue work. Site-Shot lists dedicated worker counts by plan; ScreenshotOne lists 40 requests per minute on Basic; ScreenshotInk allows bulk runs of up to 20 URLs; ScreenshotNeo supports bulk requests of up to 100 URLs and asynchronous jobs. Add Screenshots says it has no concurrency caps, but verify the precise tier quote and terms. These limits can matter more than small differences in unit price when a batch has a deadline.

Features needed by the workload

Only pay for or prioritize features the job actually needs. Full-page or selected-element capture, geographic targeting, formats, proxy retries, integrations, and output retention may affect provider fit. Establish whether the “screenshot” count means an API request, a rendered page, or a final exported image—especially when one page produces several device or locale variants.

Which option fits common bulk workloads?

  • Small recurring batches: Compare free allowances and low-entry plans, while checking whether the allowance resets monthly and whether failed requests consume it.
  • Tens of thousands each month: Compare quota plans and prepaid packs at the volume you will actually use. The advertised examples include ScreenshotInk’s $79/month for 50,000 and Site-Shot’s $50/month for 50,000, but their batch, throughput, storage, and overage terms differ.
  • Hundreds of thousands or more: Check the number of workers, request limits, async support, and whether the price is self-serve or custom. Site-Shot lists $500/month for 625,000 captures; Add Screenshots advertises a scale endpoint of 1.5 million for $2,406/month, but verify an exact quote for your requirement.
  • Variable usage: Prepaid credits or metered billing can avoid paying for a large unused monthly quota, but confirm credit expiry and how retries or failures are treated.

ScreenshotNeo is the first alternative to try for a bulk workflow if clean captures and predictable treatment of failed or cached results matter: it removes known consent banners, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture, and bills only clean shots. Its bulk and async jobs support larger workflows; the published plans range from 1,000 free shots monthly to 1,000,000 for $249.
