The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival takes about 2.5–5 hours to finish the story, based on two 2026 review estimates. Your time will depend on skill, difficulty, and how much you explore. After the first playthrough, you can unlock Negan and replay the campaign with four characters, tackle Game+ and higher difficulties, and work through character upgrades and completion goals.
How long does the campaign take?
Two 2026 reviews put a focused story run at roughly 2.5–5 hours. GameBlast estimates 3–5 hours, noting that skill, difficulty, and exploration affect the total. GBAtemp estimates 2.5–3 hours per playthrough and describes a 12-level campaign, with time varying by skill and familiarity.
Trailmark Games’ 2026 launch announcement confirms the campaign has 12 levels, but the sources reviewed do not provide an official developer estimate for the full campaign’s duration. The studio’s 45-minute figure is for the demo, not the complete game.

What can you do after finishing the story?
Unlock Negan and replay as four characters
Trailmark Games says Negan becomes playable after your first playthrough. The developer’s announcement says you can then revisit the campaign as Negan, Daryl, Rick, or Michonne. The sources reviewed describe replaying the existing campaign, not a separate Negan story campaign.

Try Game+ and other difficulty levels
The official launch announcement promotes Game+ as a way to replay, master each character’s moveset, and take on multiple difficulty levels. GameBlast also reports that stages can be replayed with more freedom to choose protagonists after finishing the story.
Develop character skill trees
Each character has a skill tree. In its 2026 Steam Community FAQ, Trailmark Games says: “Each character has a full skill tree that increases stats as well as abilities and effectiveness as you progress through the game. It will take multiple playthroughs to fully max out your characters.” Xbox Wire describes the skill trees as branching, giving replay runs room for different character builds.

Work toward completion goals
A 2026 platinum guide by an individual player lists collectibles, secret rooms, quests, skill-tree completion, hard difficulty, and combat milestones among its goals. These are that player’s reported requirements, not a universal checklist confirmed by the developer.

One player-authored guide on r/Trophies reports 12–15 hours for a platinum run covering hard difficulty, collectibles, secret rooms, quests, skill-tree completion, and kill-count goals. Treat that as one player’s estimate for a broad completion route, not the expected time for the story or a publisher-wide average.
