What makes your Snapscore go up?
Snapchat says its score combines the number of Snaps you have sent and received, the Stories you have posted, and “a couple other factors.” The exact equation and the weight assigned to each activity are not public, so there is no official points-per-Snap rate or guaranteed score increase for a particular action. In practical terms, use Snapchat’s documented score-related activities: exchange Snaps and post Stories. The available official guidance does not establish that chats, streaks, opening Snaps, or following a particular daily quota will increase your score.
Can Snapchat+ increase your Snapscore?
Yes, Snapchat documents a feature called Snapscore Multiplier for Snapchat+ subscribers. With the feature enabled, Snapchat says your score can grow twice as fast when you send a Snap to or receive a Snap from another Snapchat+ subscriber. Turn on Snapscore Multiplier
- Open Snapchat and go to My Account.
- Tap the Snapchat+ membership card.
- Switch on Snapscore Multiplier. Snapchat says the feature is off by default.
The documented effect is specific to Snaps exchanged with another Snapchat+ subscriber. Snapchat’s support instructions do not state a subscription price or regional availability, so check the app for current membership details.
Where can you see your score?
Open your Profile; Snapchat says your Snapscore appears beneath your name. Snapchat also says there is no way to lower or reset it. Snapchat Support: What is a Snapscore?
