To enable manual payments in a Hostinger AI Builder store, open the store manager and go to Settings → Payments → Add manual payment. Add a checkout name and payment instructions, select Enable manual payment method at checkout, then save.
Set up a manual payment method
- Open your store manager. Go to the management area for the Hostinger AI Builder store.
- Open the payment settings. Select Settings → Payments, then click Add manual payment.
- Name the method. Enter the label customers should see at checkout. Hostinger gives cash on delivery and bank transfer as examples.
- Write customer instructions. Explain how to pay. For a bank transfer, for example, provide the receiving bank account number. Hostinger says the instructions appear at checkout and in the order confirmation email.
- Enable and save it. Select Enable manual payment method at checkout, then save your changes. See Hostinger’s AI Builder manual-payment instructions.
The current AI Builder guide uses Settings → Payments. An older Website Builder guide calls the area Store settings → Payments, so labels may differ if you are following documentation for a different interface version: legacy Website Builder instructions.
What happens when a customer places an order
An order paid through a manual method starts with the status Awaiting. The checkout option does not confirm that money has reached you: verify receipt yourself, then open the order on the Orders page and change its payment status to Paid.
Hostinger says the order confirmation email is sent when the order is created. Appointment confirmations and digital products, however, are sent only after you mark the order Paid. This makes the payment-status update important when an order includes an appointment or digital delivery.

Disable or remove a manual method
To stop offering a method, return to Settings → Payments and manage the manual payment entry. You can turn off its checkout availability using the enablement checkbox or remove the method. After changing payment settings, update the website. Follow Hostinger’s instructions for removing payment methods.

What to know before using manual payments
- Cash on delivery and bank transfer are Hostinger’s examples; the setup guide does not establish that every possible payment method is supported or appropriate in every location.
- Hostinger’s setup workflow is a store configuration process; the documented steps do not call for separate physical equipment. The broader AI Builder store setup guide covers payment settings in the context of creating a store.
- The setup instructions do not determine whether a payment method meets local legal or tax requirements. Check the rules that apply to your business and location.
- Hostinger’s troubleshooting guide says you do not need to remove cash-on-delivery or bank-transfer manual methods before changing the store currency: AI Builder payment and checkout troubleshooting.
