The HONOR Watch 6’s standout strength is endurance: Notebookcheck recorded around two weeks in its testing, while HONOR advertises up to 17 days in typical-use mode and up to 35 days in a more limited Bluetooth Long Battery Life Mode. Its extensive workout menu and broadly useful health tracking are balanced by heart-rate lag during rapid changes, occasional GPS route deviations, a large case, and a modest app and smartwatch feature set. The key question is whether those trade-offs fit your priorities.
How long does the HONOR Watch 6 battery last?
Battery life depends on the mode and the features you use. Notebookcheck reports a 980 mAh battery and HONOR estimates of up to 17 days with typical use or up to 35 days with limited functionality. In Notebookcheck’s own testing, the watch lasted around two weeks.
The 35-day figure is a maximum for HONOR’s Bluetooth Long Battery Life Mode, not a promise of that runtime with every feature enabled. HONOR Global’s stated scenario includes smart heart-rate monitoring, scientific sleep tracking at night, 15 minutes per week of Bluetooth calling, 15 minutes per week of music playback, 60 minutes per week of GPS-enabled exercise, 50 messages, six incoming calls and three alarms per day, and 200 screen activations per day. HONOR attributes the figure to HONOR Lab. HONOR’s Watch 6 product page sets out the scenario.

How accurate are its health measurements?
Notebookcheck found the Watch 6’s heart-rate and blood-oxygen readings generally close to those from its reference devices. The important caveat is response time: heart-rate tracking lagged when the reviewer’s heart rate changed rapidly. That makes the watch more convincing for broad trends and steady activity than for capturing every quick transition in real time.
Those findings describe one reviewer’s comparison, not a guarantee of clinical accuracy. The Watch 6 is a consumer fitness device; use a suitable medical device and professional advice for health decisions.

How reliable is GPS during workouts?
The Watch 6 uses dual-band satellite positioning, and Notebookcheck found its routes usable overall, with some minor inaccuracies. In Android Central’s separate field comparison, GPS performed well overall, but the recorded route showed two noticeable deviations under tree cover, placing the runner on the road rather than the sidewalk. Notebookcheck’s review and Android Central’s multi-watch field test therefore point to useful tracking with some scope for route error, especially in challenging surroundings.

What sports features does it offer?
HONOR lists more than 120 workout modes, from common activities to specialized sports. Notebookcheck highlights dedicated Pro modes for soccer and badminton. The soccer mode records distance, pace, sprint speed, and running paths; the companion app can also show heat maps. Notebookcheck notes that the soccer mode is better suited to training or recreational play than formal matches, where rules and safety restrictions may limit watch use.

What are the watch and smartwatch features like?
Display, size, and weight
Notebookcheck lists a 1.46-inch AMOLED display with 464 × 464 resolution and 317 ppi. The 46.5 mm case is large, particularly on slimmer wrists. The black model has an aluminum-alloy body and weighs about 41 g without the band; the brown version has a stainless-steel front case and weighs about 50 g. Cadena SER also found the case large for a smaller wrist.
Calls, payments, and phone compatibility
The Watch 6 pairs with the HONOR Health app on Android and iOS. Its microphone and speaker support Bluetooth calls, but the connected smartphone must be nearby because the watch has no cellular connectivity. NFC payments use Fidesmo Pay rather than Google Wallet, and availability depends on region.

What it lacks
Notebookcheck lists no Wi-Fi, cellular connectivity, ECG, fall detection, or extensive app store. It also reports additional limitations for iPhone users. In Android Central’s comparison, the Watch 6 surfaced less sleep data than the other watches in that test; this is a finding about data presentation in one comparison, not a universal verdict on sleep-measurement accuracy.

Who should consider the HONOR Watch 6?
The Watch 6 makes the most sense for someone who values long battery life, a broad set of workout modes, and basic health and route tracking more than a rich app ecosystem or advanced smartwatch capabilities. Its battery claims are meaningful when read alongside the mode and use conditions; the independent testing cited here found around two weeks rather than establishing one runtime for every owner.
Look elsewhere if you need a smaller case, cellular calls without a phone, ECG or fall detection, or a deep selection of third-party apps. If route precision is a priority, pay particular attention to performance in the environments where you exercise: the available reviews found generally usable GPS but also some route deviations.
For a decision between watches, compare runtime under similar settings, GPS consistency in tree cover and dense areas, how much health and sleep data is accessible, phone compatibility and app support, case dimensions and weight, and local price. A single battery figure or workout count cannot settle those differences.
