Gyre is the closer fit if your main need is to loop prerecorded music videos on YouTube: its published workflow is built around cloud playlists and scheduled continuous streams. OneStream Live also documents 24/7 YouTube streaming, but its help center says the feature requires Enterprise and caps each scheduled run at 30 days. Its pricing page separately lists a $30/month 24-hour YouTube add-on, and the official pages do not explain how that add-on relates to the Enterprise requirement. Choose Gyre if playlist looping is the deciding feature
Gyre’s published workflow most directly matches a channel that should repeat a prepared music playlist: upload and convert videos in the cloud, assemble the playlist, schedule the stream, and let the playlist restart. What to confirm before starting a 24/7 stream
Playlist continuity and recovery
Confirm how the service handles the end of a playlist, scheduled restarts, and a dropped connection to YouTube. A continuous loop does not by itself establish an uptime guarantee. For OneStream, include the 30-day schedule limit in your operating plan; for either service, find out what action is needed to resume after a service or platform interruption.

Full cost and capacity
Compare the plan that actually enables 24/7 streaming, not just an advertised add-on or trial. Ask about stream count, storage or upload limits, billing cadence, renewal, and whether a scheduled restart requires manual work. Gyre advertises a seven-day trial; check its current plan details before relying on trial access or capacity.
Rights and YouTube channel eligibility
Before uploading a track, make sure you have rights for the audio and visuals and for the intended YouTube use, including monetization if relevant. YouTube says creators are responsible for clearing all audio and visual rights in content they monetize. A track’s availability online, a license for another use, or the absence of a claim so far does not establish permission for a continuous monetized livestream.

Permission and monetization eligibility are separate questions. YouTube applies its monetization policies to livestreams and says repetitive or mass-produced content may be ineligible. Reused-content review is separate from copyright enforcement, so permission alone does not guarantee that a channel or stream qualifies for monetization. Review YouTube’s channel monetization policies and copyright and monetization guidance before building a channel around repeated material.
Can a 24/7 YouTube music stream earn money?
Possibly, but a continuous schedule is not a monetization shortcut. The channel must qualify for the relevant YouTube features, the stream must comply with policy and rights requirements, and monetization must be enabled where available. YouTube says eligible monetized live streams can serve pre-roll, display, and mid-roll ads, but ad slots are not guaranteed to serve. YouTube reported an average uplift of over 20% in instream ad revenue per hour when comparing channels with automatic live mid-roll ads enabled against channels without them, averaged across 207 countries in January 2024. That is an aggregate comparison, not a forecast for an individual channel or a guarantee that ads will appear on a particular stream. It should not be used to estimate earnings from a new music channel.
