Bottom line: Both Gyre and LiveReacting host prerecorded YouTube streams in the cloud, so your computer can be off after setup. LiveReacting is worth considering if you want its broader interactive live-show tools as well as 24/7 streaming. Gyre may suit creators who need several concurrent streams, but the plan comparison reviewed here says playlists and scheduling are not included in its entry-level Start plan. Compare the exact features and limits you need before choosing: prices and plan details can change.

How Gyre and LiveReacting handle 24/7 YouTube streams

LiveReacting

LiveReacting describes a workflow in which you upload prerecorded video or music, arrange a playlist, connect a YouTube channel or stream key, and run the broadcast on its servers. Its 24/7 page describes ordering, shuffle, looping, scheduling, and a limited free test. The service also offers interactive live-show features. These are vendor descriptions, not independent performance tests. LiveReacting’s 24/7 streaming page

Gyre

Gyre describes uploading files to its storage, converting them for streaming, creating and scheduling a looping playlist, and running broadcasts on cloud infrastructure. It also markets plans for multiple simultaneous streams. Its claims about audience growth, watch time, or retention are promotional claims; they should not be treated as established outcomes. Gyre

Both services are intended to keep the broadcast running from cloud infrastructure rather than depending on your computer staying on. They stream prerecorded material, so they are not substitutes for a live camera feed.

Plan prices and reported limits

The figures below come from a LiveReacting-authored comparison that says Gyre prices were checked on September 23, 2026. They are vendor-reported, time-sensitive details, not an independent pricing audit. Confirm current prices, eligibility, and plan limits on the providers’ pages before buying.

All figures in the table are from the LiveReacting-authored comparison, which says it checked Gyre figures on September 23, 2026. Which service fits your setup?

Choose based on concurrent broadcasts

Count the channels and broadcasts that must run at the same time, not just the total number of channels you own. The comparison reports up to four HD streams on Gyre Start+. It does not give a comparable LiveReacting stream count, so ask LiveReacting to confirm capacity for your account and plan rather than assuming the limits match.

Check whether playlists and scheduling are included

If you need scheduled starts or playlist management, confirm that the exact plan includes them. The cited comparison says Gyre Start lacks both and Start+ includes them; LiveReacting describes playlists and scheduled starts for its 24/7 feature. A lower entry price may not be useful if it omits a feature required for your workflow.

Match storage to your actual library

Estimate the size of the source files you intend to upload, then compare that with both total storage and per-file upload limits. The comparison lists 100 GB per stream and a 10 GB maximum file size for LiveReacting, and 75 GB for Gyre Start+. These are vendor-reported and may change; confirm whether the current provider limits apply to your selected plan and how storage is counted.

Pay for production tools only if you will use them

LiveReacting also describes interactive shows, overlays, polls, trivia, and other live-production tools. Those may be useful for hosted live shows, but they are not necessary just to loop prerecorded video. Consider whether those tools justify choosing a broader production service for your use.

YouTube eligibility, copyright, and monetization

Confirm the channel can livestream

YouTube’s Get started with live streaming help page says a channel must be verified and must not have had live-streaming restrictions in the prior 90 days. You must be at least 16 to livestream. The page also lists a simultaneous ceiling of 10 active streams per channel and 3 per stream key. These are YouTube limits, not additional capacity promised by either vendor, and apply at the same time.

Use content you have the rights to stream

Make sure you have the necessary rights to every video, music track, image, and other element in the stream. YouTube says live content must follow its Community Guidelines and Terms of Service, and it may restrict live streaming.

Do not assume a 24/7 stream qualifies for monetization

YouTube’s channel monetization policy applies to live streams. For monetization, content should be original and authentic, not mass-produced, generic, or repetitive. Reviewers may assess the channel as a whole, including its theme and the content responsible for the most watch time. A streaming service can keep a broadcast running; it cannot make repeated material eligible for monetization. YouTube says its July 15, 2025 clarification labeled repetitive or mass-produced content “inauthentic content” and clarified existing expectations rather than changing the reused-content policy.
