Short answer: choose LiveReacting if you want to loop a single video or playlist and value making changes while a stream is running; consider Gyre if its playlist, scheduling, and stream-capacity options fit your channel. Both services describe cloud-based YouTube streaming of prerecorded video, so your own computer does not have to stay on. Plan limits and prices matter, and neither service can guarantee views, revenue, monetization eligibility, or uninterrupted operation.
What each service does
Both services describe sending prerecorded video from their servers to a YouTube live stream. That is different from broadcasting a live camera or screen: the source is an uploaded video or playlist.
Gyre
Gyre’s stated workflow is to upload videos to Gyre Storage, build a playlist, connect a YouTube account, then start a scheduled or continuous stream. Gyre says playlists restart automatically and streams run on its cloud infrastructure. Its homepage advertises up to eight simultaneous streams per subscription and lists YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Instagram, Kick, and RTMP destinations. These are Gyre’s own product claims, not independently tested results. Gyre’s official homepage

LiveReacting
LiveReacting says you can loop one prerecorded video or use a playlist, with videos played in order or shuffled. It also describes scheduling shorter streams to repeat and changing the video, playlist order, music, scenes, or overlays while a stream is on air. The service says it runs streams from its servers and supports YouTube and other destinations, with up to 20 simultaneous platforms depending on plan. Its FAQ says the dedicated 24/7 plan has no service-set stream-length limit, while other plans have maximum lengths; platform limits may still apply. These are vendor descriptions rather than independently verified performance results. LiveReacting’s official homepage

Which one fits your workflow?
| Need | Gyre | LiveReacting |
|---|---|---|
| Loop one video | Describes continuous looping through a playlist workflow. | Explicitly describes looping a single prerecorded video. |
| Loop a playlist | Describes building and reusing playlists. | Describes playlists played in order or shuffled. |
| Schedule or repeat | Describes scheduling playlists and continuous streaming. | Describes scheduled reruns of shorter streams. |
| Change content during a live stream | Not stated in the cited homepage description. | Describes changing video, order, music, scenes, and overlays while the stream stays on air. |
| Multiple streams or destinations | Homepage advertises up to eight simultaneous streams per subscription; destination and plan limits should be checked. | Homepage says up to 20 simultaneous platforms depending on plan; confirm the applicable tier. |
For a straightforward playlist that can run continuously, either service may suit the workflow described by its vendor. LiveReacting’s described mid-stream editing is a useful distinction if you expect to change what viewers see without stopping the stream. Gyre’s advertised stream capacity may matter if you need several streams under one subscription. Confirm the exact tier limits and current feature availability before paying.
Plans and prices: verify before subscribing
A LiveReacting-authored comparison reports LiveReacting’s 24/7 plan at $39.99 per month, or $33 per month when billed yearly. The same comparison reports Gyre Start+ at $99 per month for up to four HD streams, says playlist support starts at Start+, and says Gyre’s $49 monthly tier does not include playlists. These are figures and comparisons published by LiveReacting, not an independent price audit; the comparison says Gyre’s figures were checked September 23, 2026. Check both providers’ current plan pages for your region, billing term, and required features before subscribing. LiveReacting’s comparison page

Before you start a YouTube live stream
Check channel eligibility
YouTube says a channel must be verified and have had no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days to go live. Review YouTube’s live-streaming requirements before connecting a streaming service.

Check rights and monetization separately
Having permission to use the streaming software does not grant rights to the video, music, or other material you upload. Make sure your content is original or properly cleared for the intended use. YouTube’s monetization policy applies to live streams as well as other video. Its July 15, 2025 update renamed “repetitious content” as “inauthentic content” and clarifies that monetized content should not be mass-produced, generic, repetitive, or manipulative; substance should be materially varied and provide creative, educational, or other value. A loop alone does not establish monetization eligibility. Read YouTube’s channel monetization policies.
Practical checks before going live
- Confirm that the chosen tier includes the playlist, schedule, stream length, quality, and destination setup you need.
- Make sure the uploaded video and audio are cleared for use on YouTube.
- Verify your YouTube channel and check for live-streaming restrictions before connecting it.
- Test the playlist order, transitions, and audio before relying on a continuous stream.
- Do not treat a vendor’s cloud-hosting or recovery description as a guarantee of uptime, audience growth, watch time, or revenue.
Or let it run in the cloud
If you want a simpler YouTube-only option, StreamNeo keeps an uploaded video or playlist streaming from the cloud: upload your video, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; it streams uploaded files, not a live camera feed. Every quality up to 4K 60fps streams as uploaded at one flat price per slot, with no re-encode or quality tiers, and automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card, one free day per account. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. Start the free day with StreamNeo.
