Both Gyre and LiveReacting offer cloud workflows for running prerecorded video continuously on YouTube, so your computer does not need to stay on after setup. Gyre’s published plan table gives concrete stream-count and resolution limits; LiveReacting pairs 24/7 playlists with interactive tools, with capabilities depending on plan. Choose by matching your required concurrency, quality, storage, scheduling, destinations, and interaction features to the exact plan available at checkout. These are provider descriptions, not independently measured uptime or performance results.

How to choose between Gyre and LiveReacting

For a straightforward prerecorded loop, compare capacity and workflow first. Gyre’s public materials describe uploading and converting videos, building looping playlists, scheduling broadcasts, and YouTube channel authorization. LiveReacting describes playlist-based 24/7 streams and adds interactive elements such as polls, trivia, giveaways, word games, guest appearances, and chat overlays. The latter may matter for a participatory show, but could be unnecessary for a passive playlist.

For a cloud alternative to consider first, StreamNeo keeps one YouTube stream running from uploaded videos, with any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot and the first day free.

Compare the plans against your actual stream

Gyre’s published public plan table, accessed in 2026, specifies the following concurrency and resolution combinations. These are plan specifications, not independent performance measurements. LiveReacting states that its dedicated 24/7 plan supports unlimited duration, while simultaneous destinations and other capabilities depend on the selected plan. Its reviewed public materials do not establish a comparable full set of numeric limits here; confirm the current plan details directly.

Which service fits which use case?

Choose Gyre when capacity and scheduling are the priority

Gyre’s published figures make it easier to assess whether a particular plan’s HD or 4K concurrency suits your channel portfolio. Its materials describe playlists, scheduling, video conversion and storage; a product update also describes YouTube API-based automation for metadata and broadcast creation. Confirm which of these features are enabled on your specific plan and whether its workflow can import existing channel videos directly.

Choose LiveReacting when interaction is part of the format

LiveReacting describes 24/7 prerecorded playlists alongside interactive components such as games, polls, giveaways, guest appearances, and chat overlays. This can be a better conceptual fit for a stream designed to involve viewers rather than simply play a continuous loop. Confirm which interactive tools and destination counts your plan includes.

Choose based on constraints, not vendor uptime claims

Both companies describe cloud operation after setup, but the available sources do not establish a comparative uptime record or independently tested performance. Ask each provider about reconnection behavior, support terms, storage and transfer limits, maximum duration, concurrent streams, and what happens if YouTube disconnects the broadcast.

Set up an always-on YouTube stream safely

  1. Check channel eligibility first. YouTube says live streaming requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days; the person streaming must be at least 16. Review YouTube Help’s live-streaming requirements before configuring a provider.
  2. Prepare video and audio you have rights to use. You are responsible for rights to the broadcast material, including any music. YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions explain the content provider’s responsibilities.
  3. Build and schedule the playlist in the provider. Upload or select your recordings, arrange the playback order, and set the schedule or start controls available on your plan. Confirm whether the service creates YouTube broadcasts and metadata automatically or requires you to configure them in YouTube.
  4. Connect YouTube and verify the stream before relying on it. Use the provider’s documented channel authorization or stream-key workflow, then check the live event in YouTube Studio. Confirm that the intended title, audience settings, visibility, and monetization settings are correct; do not assume automation selects your preferred defaults.
  5. Decide how you will preserve a replay. YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived, but streams over 12 hours may not be captured at all. YouTube recommends recording a local archive as backup. See Archive live streams. If keeping your own copy matters, retain a local recording on storage with enough capacity for the file.

Copyright, monetization, and repeat content

Using a cloud service does not change YouTube’s policies. A continuous stream is not a shortcut to monetization eligibility: YouTube’s monetization policies apply to live streams and call for original, authentic content. Its policy page notes that on July 15, 2025, the terminology changed from “repetitious content” to “inauthentic content”; repetitive or mass-produced material may be ineligible. Review YouTube channel monetization policies and make sure the stream adds genuine original value rather than simply replaying generic material.

Or let it run in the cloud

With StreamNeo, upload a recording or make a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It loops uploaded videos from the cloud, so nothing has to stay on at home. Every slot supports the video as uploaded up to 4K 60fps at one price per slot, with automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card; the monthly option is $9.99 per month. Start your free StreamNeo day.
