Guardz announced a $56 million Series B on June 9, 2025, led by ClearSky, to expand its cybersecurity business serving managed service providers (MSPs) that protect small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). The company said the funding would support U.S. expansion, research and development, and work on its next-generation platform. Guardz reported that the round brought its total funding to $84 million as of that announcement.

Who led Guardz’s Series B?

ClearSky led the $56 million round. New investor Phoenix Financial joined existing investors Glilot Capital Partners, SentinelOne, Hanaco Ventures, iAngels, GKFF Ventures, Lumir, and others. Guardz said the financing brought its cumulative funding to $84 million as of June 9, 2025; that figure is the total reported at the time, not a current funding total. Guardz’s June 9, 2025 announcement gives the round details.

What does Guardz do?

Guardz builds a cybersecurity platform for MSPs, which manage IT and security for client businesses. Its stated focus is SMB protection: MSPs can use the platform to manage security across identities, email, endpoints, cloud, and data.

Guardz says its 24/7 managed detection and response (MDR) combines AI-automated detection and response with human-led threat hunting. The company also describes integrations with SentinelOne endpoint detection and response (EDR), Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace. It says those connections monitor behavior and activity, flag suspicious patterns, and can suspend accounts. These are Guardz’s descriptions of its product capabilities, not independently verified performance results.

How does Guardz plan to use the money?

Guardz said it would put the funding toward expanding its U.S. go-to-market operation, growing research and development, and developing a next-generation cybersecurity platform that includes 24/7 detection and response capabilities. Those were the company’s plans announced with the financing; the announcement itself does not establish which initiatives were later completed.

In the announcement, CEO and co-founder Dor Eisner said the funding would advance Guardz’s effort to bring enterprise-level cybersecurity to SMBs and give MSPs unified security controls and automated detection and response. ClearSky Managing Partner Alex Weiss described the company’s product as addressing an underserved market need.

What has Guardz reported since the funding?

In a company announcement dated January 29, 2026, Guardz said its annual recurring revenue grew 300% year over year in 2025 and that it surpassed 100 employees during 2025. These are company-reported milestones; the announcement does not independently verify the growth figure or explain its baseline. The January 29, 2026 release contains the claims.

Guardz’s company page also records a 2024 strategic partnership with SentinelOne, a 2025 Ultimate Plan combining SentinelOne EDR with the Guardz platform and its 24/7 MDR, and an ITDR product release in 2025. These milestones are company-stated. Guardz’s company page lists them.

What the funding news means for MSPs

The investment signals that Guardz intends to build out a unified security offering around the MSP channel, rather than sell only a single-purpose tool directly to SMBs. For an MSP evaluating the platform, the financing is context—not proof of protection quality, customer outcomes, or a fit for a particular environment. The company’s announcement does not provide independent efficacy testing, a competitor comparison, or current detailed plan pricing.
