Which cars can you upgrade at Hao’s Special Works? GTADB’s roster lists 31 compatible vehicle variants, from the Bravado Banshee GTS to the Pegassi Horus. HSW is available only for selected vehicles and supported editions of GTA Online; it is not a conversion that can be applied to any car. The roster below reflects GTADB’s list as of October 4, 2026, rather than an official Rockstar master list.
All 31 HSW-compatible vehicles
The following vehicles appear on GTADB’s current HSW roster. Check the GTADB HSW roster or the in-game HSW interface if you are checking a specific vehicle, since updates can change eligibility.

GTADB lists 31 variants, not 31 vehicle families; for example, the Vigero ZX and Vigero ZX Convertible are separate entries. Rockstar update notes confirm individual additions, including the Veleno GT in Title Update 1.73 and the Banshee GTS and Firebolt ASP in earlier notes, but the Rockstar notes cited here do not publish one consolidated roster or total. What HSW does and what you need
Hao’s Special Works is a vehicle conversion and upgrade service at the LS Car Meet in Cypress Flats, Los Santos. It offers an HSW upgrade and a further range of modifications, but only for eligible vehicle variants. Regular upgrades to a non-compatible vehicle do not make it HSW-eligible.
#1 Best Overall
- Includes the complete grand Theft Auto V story experience
- A supported edition: HSW is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and GTAV Enhanced on PC. Do not assume PC Legacy has the same HSW support.
- An eligible vehicle: The model or variant must appear in the current eligible roster or be accepted by the in-game HSW interface.
- An unlocked shop: Xbox Wire’s player guidance says to take Hao’s call and complete the time trial using a high-performing HSW-modified vehicle; beating its par time unlocks the shop. Xbox Wire’s HSW unlock guidance.
Platform details can vary by release notes: Rockstar’s 2026 Veleno GT announcement names PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and GTAV Enhanced on PC, while earlier vehicle announcements describe the platforms supported at those vehicles’ release. Those older labels are not a complete current, vehicle-by-vehicle platform matrix. Rockstar announced PC Enhanced as bringing HSW features previously available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

“Fastest” depends on what you want to do. GTADB’s HSW performance list names the Bravado Banshee GTS as its top-speed leader at 172.5 mph, a database figure rather than an official Rockstar statistic. Top speed alone does not establish the best race choice: lap time also reflects acceleration, braking, cornering, and the test circuit. GTADB’s HSW performance list.

- For straight-line speed: Compare HSW top-speed figures.
- For racing: Look at lap time and class, and consider the track and handling demands rather than treating a top-speed ranking as a universal verdict.
- For general driving: Choose for handling and intended use, not only a leaderboard figure.
- For value: Check the vehicle’s current purchase price and conversion cost in-game; prices can change, and no permanent price comparison is established here.
- For availability: Confirm the vehicle is accessible to you and that your edition supports HSW.
GTADB records the Pegassi Horus as having an unverified HSW top-speed figure. That is not a zero, and it should not be used to assign the Horus a speed rank.
