The GTA VI Goodtime State – Vice City Collection is a physical collectibles box, not a game bundle: Rockstar says the game is sold separately. Its 11 listed items are mostly branded memorabilia and display pieces. By contrast, Rockstar’s 2013 GTA V Collector’s Edition included a full retail copy of the game, the Special Edition’s bonuses, and additional physical and in-game extras.
What does the GTA VI collector’s box include?
Rockstar calls the product the Goodtime State – Vice City Collection, inspired by the fictional TV show Macca the Gator. The Rockstar Store listing accessed October 4, 2026, describes a box containing these 11 items:
- Macca the Gator figure: its base twists open to store small valuables.
- Oakley Frogskins sunglasses: matte black with Prizm Sapphire lenses and a Vice City pink GTA VI logo.
- Leonida Keys crossbody bag.
- New Era 9FORTY snapback hat.
- Macca the Gator magnetic mirror: also usable as a tray or wall display.
- Chunkee the Manatee shot glass.
- Vice City collectible swizzle spoon.
- Vice City razor-blade-style keychain.
- Leonida Keys enamel pin set: nine pins in a metal tin.
- Leonida Keys sticker pack: nine vinyl stickers in a stash bag.
- Double-sided souvenir poster: Macca the Gator characters on one side and a Leonida map on the other.
The store listing gives the box dimensions as 19 × 13.5 × 12.5 inches and labels the contents adult collectibles, not a toy, for ages 18+. It also warns of small parts and sharp edges. These are listing details as accessed October 4, 2026, and could change. Rockstar’s explicit note is: “Grand Theft Auto VI game sold separately.” Rockstar Store
What came in the GTA V Collector’s Edition?
Rockstar’s May 23, 2013 announcement says the GTA V Collector’s Edition included everything in the Special Edition, plus physical memorabilia and in-game extras. The Special Edition was announced for PS3 and Xbox 360 and included a full retail game copy.

Rockstar listed historical U.S. suggested retail prices of $149.99 for the GTA V Collector’s Edition and $79.99 for the Special Edition in 2013. Those are launch-era prices, not current resale prices, and are not adjusted for inflation. Rockstar said pre-orders ran until September 17, 2013, while supplies lasted. GTA VI box vs. GTA V Collector’s Edition
| What you receive | GTA VI Goodtime State – Vice City Collection | GTA V Collector’s Edition (2013) |
|---|---|---|
| Game included | No. Rockstar Store says the game is sold separately. | Yes. Rockstar described a full retail game copy as part of the included Special Edition contents. |
| Physical items | 11 listed items: figure, sunglasses, crossbody bag, hat, mirror, shot glass, spoon, keychain, nine-pin set, nine-sticker pack, and double-sided poster. | SteelBook, map, security deposit bag and key, cap, collectible outer box, plus the game packaging. |
| In-game content | The collection listing does not list in-game bonuses. | Special Edition bonuses and Collector’s Edition additions included gameplay, customization, character-creator, garage, and vehicle content. |
| Announced price | $399.99 on the Rockstar Store listing accessed October 4, 2026; the game is separate. | $149.99 U.S. suggested retail price announced by Rockstar in 2013; historical launch price, not inflation-adjusted. |
The item totals are not directly equivalent. GTA VI’s 11-item count includes each pin set and sticker pack as one listed item, though each contains nine pieces; the GTA V announcement groups several kinds of digital bonuses together. A more useful comparison is what each edition provides: GTA V combined a game copy and in-game benefits with physical collectibles, while the GTA VI collection is a separate merchandise purchase with no listed game access or in-game bonus.

Buyers must treat the GTA VI game and collection as separate products
Rockstar Support lists Standard and Ultimate Editions of GTA VI. According to its article, last updated August 18, 2026, Ultimate adds in-game bonuses including vehicles, weapons, clothing and style items, and locations or businesses. Standard owners can buy a digital Ultimate Edition Upgrade. Physical copies contain a download code in the box, not a disc; a physical Ultimate Edition is not available, though a physical Standard buyer can purchase the digital upgrade after redeeming the code. How to make a fair comparison
- Check game access first. GTA V Collector’s Edition included the retail game; GTA VI’s collection listing expressly excludes the game.
- Separate physical items from software bonuses. The new collection lists branded accessories and memorabilia, while GTA V’s package included gameplay and online content.
- Consider how you will use the items. The figure, mirror, poster, map, and branded items are primarily collectibles or display pieces; bags, eyewear, hats, drinkware, and keychains have practical uses.
- Do not compare prices as though they were like-for-like. The GTA V figure is a 2013 suggested retail price; the GTA VI figure is a 2026 store listing for a box without the game. Neither establishes today’s resale value or a direct value-per-item comparison.
- Verify the precise product being offered. Older editions may be pre-owned or incomplete on resale marketplaces; check for the game, packaging, and all physical pieces rather than relying on the edition name alone.
What can be established about GTA IV?
Rockstar’s current GTA IV Complete Edition page describes software content; it does not establish the contents or original price of the 2008 GTA IV Special Edition. Without a reliable official announcement or box documentation for that edition, its contents should not be treated as verified in this comparison. Rockstar Store: GTA IV Complete Edition
