Capture a URL and save the result
The documented code shape is: initialize the GrabzIt client with the application key and secret, call URLToImage for the target page, then save or process the capture. The exact method arguments and available options can vary with library versions, so use the current PHP API reference and official example rather than copying an unverified signature into production.
For a synchronous flow, save the capture to a server-side destination and confirm the save succeeds before exposing the resulting file. For an asynchronous flow, supply a callback handler URL when saving the request; the remote handler must be publicly reachable so GrabzIt can notify it. The handler can retrieve the completed capture by its ID and write the returned bytes to your results directory. Check status and serve the output safely
The advanced PHP documentation describes GetStatus and states such statuses as processing, cached, and expired. Handle incomplete or expired captures explicitly instead of assuming every request produces a file immediately. GrabzIt recommends downloading a capture to your web server before displaying it; where you return image bytes directly, send the appropriate MIME type. Compatibility and costs to verify before publishing

- The shortcode appears as text or nothing renders: Confirm the plugin is active, the shortcode is placed in a context that processes shortcodes, and the syntax matches the current plugin documentation. Preview the published or preview page, not just the editor.
- The plugin rejects the request or returns an authorization error: Recheck the application key in plugin settings and authorize the exact site domain in GrabzIt. Check for a mismatch between the live hostname and an authorized subdomain or alternate domain.
- The PHP request does not produce an image: Inspect the returned capture status or error using the documented status flow. Confirm the credentials are valid and that the capture request uses the current library method signature.
- An asynchronous capture never appears: Verify that the callback URL is publicly reachable from outside your network and that the handler retrieves the capture using the expected ID. A local-only URL cannot serve as a remote callback endpoint.
- The callback runs but cannot save the file: Check that the results directory exists and that the PHP process has the read/write access required by the repository example. Avoid granting broader permissions than necessary.
- The resulting image or PDF is not the expected format: Check the current plugin/API documentation for supported formats and exact option names. A shortcode example for one format does not prove that every other format or attribute is accepted.
