Lifehacker reported on October 7, 2026, that Amazon had the Google Pixel Watch 5 (45mm, LTE) for $444.99, down from $529.99. That $85 reduction is a dated deal report—not confirmation that the price or offer is still available on October 9. Check the exact 45mm LTE listing and its current price before buying.
What the reported $85 deal covered
The discount applied to the 45mm LTE configuration. Lifehacker’s October 7 deal report listed it at $444.99 against a $529.99 reference price and warned that price and availability could change. The report documents the offer at that time; it does not establish today’s price or stock. Read Lifehacker’s deal report.
Google’s August 25 availability announcement gave launch starting prices of $399 for the 41mm and $429 for the 45mm in that announcement’s market context. Those historical starting prices are not the same as the $529.99 reference price reported for the LTE deal configuration, and neither figure confirms a current selling price. 41mm or 45mm
Google lists the Pixel Watch 5 in 41mm and 45mm case sizes. The featured discount was for the larger 45mm model; do not assume it applies to the 41mm version. Case size affects how the watch sits on your wrist, so check the dimensions and fit before ordering. Confirm that any replacement band is compatible with the specific case size. LTE or a non-LTE configuration
The reported offer was specifically for LTE. Consider whether cellular connectivity is useful for your routine before paying for that configuration, and verify the listing’s exact model rather than relying on a generic Pixel Watch 5 product title. The supplied deal report does not establish current carrier terms or whether cellular service is included in the purchase price.
Android setup requirements
Google lists Android 12.0 or newer as the compatibility requirement and says setup requires a Google Account and the Google Pixel Watch app. If your phone does not meet those requirements, the watch may not be a suitable purchase. Google’s US specifications.
