The Google Pixel 9a has no single official AnTuTu, Geekbench or PCMark score. Independent reviews and benchmark sites publish different figures, and even the same test can produce different numbers depending on its version, the device tested and whether a result is one run or an aggregate. The published results below are each tied to their source, test version and date, followed by how to read them.
Published Pixel 9a scores by benchmark
The table lists every result we could attribute to a named source. Google does not publish benchmark scores for the Pixel 9a, so none of these figures should be read as an official Google number.
| Benchmark and version | Reported Pixel 9a result | Source | Date and conditions |
|---|---|---|---|
| AnTuTu v10, total | 844,082 | Notebookcheck review measurement | Review published 2025; one review unit |
| AnTuTu v10 | 997,063 | Gadgets 360 review measurement | Publication date not stated on the accessed page; one review unit |
| Geekbench 6.7, single-core / multi-core | 1,702 / 4,453 | Notebookcheck review measurement | Review published 2025; one review unit |
| Geekbench 6, single-core / multi-core | 1,707 / 4,512 | Tom’s Guide review averages | Review dated April 10, 2025 |
| Geekbench 6.7.1, single-core / multi-core | 1,706 / 4,342 | Geekbench Browser, one uploaded result | Uploaded June 27, 2026; Android 17 with Tensor G4 as recorded in the upload. This is one individual run, not a model average. |
| PCMark Work 3.x | 11,398 | Notebookcheck review measurement | Review published 2025; one review unit |
| PCMark for Android Work 3.0 | 12,890 | UL Benchmarks device page | Median of submitted results, not a single controlled run; page accessed October 7, 2026. UL states the page updates daily. |
| PCMark Work 3.0 | 12,713 | Gadgets 360 review measurement | Publication date not stated on the accessed page; one review unit |
Two rules follow from this table. First, a number belongs to the benchmark version and the source that produced it, so it should never be averaged with figures from another version or another reviewer. Second, the figures are published measurements rather than guarantees for every unit. A phone’s software build, background activity and temperature at the time of testing can all shift a result.

Why the numbers do not match
Benchmark versions differ
Geekbench 6, 6.7 and 6.7.1 are different releases of the same test family, and AnTuTu v10 is one specific version of AnTuTu’s scoring system. A Geekbench 6 result from April 2025 and a Geekbench 6.7.1 result uploaded in June 2026 are not interchangeable, even though both report single-core and multi-core scores. The version tag matters as much as the number.

A review run is not a model average
Notebookcheck, Gadgets 360 and Tom’s Guide each tested a review unit and reported what they measured. Tom’s Guide’s Geekbench figures are averages across its own runs, which is a different method from a single run. UL’s PCMark figure is a median of results submitted by many users to its benchmark database, and UL says that median includes results from less-than-ideal conditions. A median of submissions can therefore sit above or below a single careful review run without either being wrong.
Test conditions change the result
Benchmark scores respond to the state of the phone when the test starts: how much it has been used, whether it is hot, what is running in the background, and which software build is installed. Those variables are not recorded in the same way across sources, so differences of a few percent between published Geekbench or PCMark numbers are within the range one would expect from ordinary variation.

What the CPU results indicate
Geekbench: roughly 1,700 single-core and 4,400 to 4,500 multi-core
Across the three review-based Geekbench 6 results above, single-core scores cluster around 1,700 and multi-core scores fall between about 4,450 and 4,500. The Geekbench Browser upload is in the same range, with a multi-core score of 4,342. These figures describe a mid-range Tensor G4 phone in short CPU bursts; they do not describe gaming or sustained heavy workloads.
Compared with the Pixel 8a, Pixel 9 and iPhone 16e
Tom’s Guide reports that its Pixel 9a Geekbench result is similar to the Pixel 9 and only a modest improvement over the Pixel 8a. Its iPhone 16e comparison shows substantially higher Geekbench numbers for Apple’s phone. Notebookcheck reports a Pixel 9a Geekbench result close to the Pixel 8a. Both reviews therefore describe the Pixel 9a as an incremental CPU step rather than a large jump, but neither review presents the comparison as a controlled, cross-lab study.

PCMark Work
The PCMark Work results in the table range from 11,398 in Notebookcheck’s review to 12,713 in Gadgets 360’s review, with UL’s submitted-result median at 12,890. Notebookcheck also reports that its Pixel 9a PCMark result was below its Pixel 9 result in the same testing. PCMark Work measures a mix of everyday tasks such as web browsing, document editing and video, so it is closer to everyday responsiveness than a pure CPU test, but it is still a synthetic score.
Sustained load and heat
A short CPU test does not show how a phone behaves after several minutes of demanding work. Notebookcheck reports heat-related slowdown during a sustained 3DMark load. 3DMark is a graphics stress test, so that finding concerns sustained GPU performance rather than the short Geekbench bursts. Tom’s Guide reports different behavior in its own tests and describes everyday use as smooth. The two findings come from different test methods and workloads, so they should be read as separate observations rather than a settled verdict on thermal performance.

Official specifications
Google identifies the Pixel 9a’s processor as Tensor G4. UL Benchmarks lists the phone with 8 GB of memory. Google’s launch announcement, dated March 19, 2025, describes the phone this way: “Powered by our fastest, most efficient chip yet, Pixel 9a comes with everything you expect from our Pixel 9 series — complete with a sleek redesign, upgraded main camera and Gemini built in.” That is Google’s marketing language, not an independent performance measurement.

1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsHow to compare the Pixel 9a with another phone
Before comparing any two phones, check the following points in order. If any one of them does not match, the comparison is not valid as a direct ranking.
- Same benchmark family and version. Compare AnTuTu v10 with AnTuTu v10, and Geekbench 6.7 with Geekbench 6.7, not with a different release.
- Same score type. Compare single-core with single-core and multi-core with multi-core. Do not rank a phone on a combined figure unless both phones were scored the same way.
- Same sample method. A single review unit, a reviewer’s average and a platform median answer different questions. Compare like with like.
- Burst versus sustained performance. A CPU score shows short-burst capability. Gaming and long workloads need a sustained test, and heat behavior should be checked separately.
- Practical tasks. Use the synthetic scores as indicators of processing capacity, not as proof of how quickly a phone will feel in daily use. A score does not guarantee subjective speed.
Used this way, the published Pixel 9a numbers show a phone whose CPU sits in a narrow band and whose performance is best judged in the context of its direct predecessors and the workloads you actually run.
