The Google Pixel 10a is the smaller phone, with wireless charging, an IP68 rating and a comparison-listed promise of up to seven Android OS updates. The Nothing Phone (4b) has a larger display, a slightly larger listed battery and a lower quoted price in some markets—but those prices use different currencies and regions, so they do not establish a universal price gap. Here is how their reported specifications compare and what to check before buying.
At a glance: the biggest differences
- Size: The Pixel 10a has a 6.3-inch display and weighs 184g. The Nothing Phone (4b) has a 6.8-inch display and weighs 210g.
- Software updates: PhoneArena reports up to seven OS updates for the Pixel and up to three for the Nothing. Treat these as comparison-page claims; confirm official support terms for your market and device.
- Charging: The Pixel is listed with 30W wired and 10W wireless charging. The Nothing is listed with 33W wired charging, with no wireless charging listed.
- Rear cameras: The Pixel has a listed 48MP main camera and 13MP ultrawide; the Nothing has a 50MP main and 8MP ultrawide. The listed rear-video maximums are 4K at 60fps for Pixel and 4K at 30fps for Nothing.
- Price: The cited prices are from different markets and price contexts. Compare current local listings for the same storage capacity before deciding which costs less.

Display, size and durability
The Pixel 10a is the more compact choice. PhoneArena lists its 6.3-inch P-OLED display at 2424 × 1080 pixels and 120Hz, with a listed density of 421 PPI. The Nothing Phone (4b) has a 6.8-inch AMOLED display at 2344 × 1080 pixels and 120Hz, with a listed density of 381 PPI. Both are listed at 120Hz, while the Pixel has more pixels per inch and the Nothing gives you a larger viewing area.
The Pixel measures 154.9 × 73.7 × 10.2mm and weighs 184g. The Nothing measures 164.4 × 78.2 × 8.6mm and weighs 210g. That makes the Nothing longer, wider and heavier, although thinner according to the listed dimensions.

For protection, the comparison lists an IP68 rating for the Pixel and IP64 for the Nothing. It lists plastic backs on both, an aluminum frame on the Pixel and a plastic frame on the Nothing. An IP rating describes tested resistance under defined conditions; it is not a guarantee against damage in every exposure or after wear.
Performance, software and storage
The comparison lists Google Tensor G4 for the Pixel 10a and Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 for the Nothing Phone (4b), and Android 16 for both. Those chip names alone do not establish which phone is faster in everyday use; the available comparison does not provide controlled performance testing.
PhoneArena reports “up to 7 OS updates” for Pixel and “up to 3 OS updates” for Nothing. Because this is a comparison-page claim rather than a verified statement of each manufacturer’s support terms, check the official policy for the exact model and region before relying on a support duration.

Both phones are listed with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage in their base configurations. The Pixel uses LPDDR5X memory and UFS 3.1 storage; the Nothing uses LPDDR4X memory and UFS 2.2 storage. The comparison also lists 256GB options for both, but identifies the Nothing’s 256GB configuration as India-only. Neither phone is listed with expandable storage, so choose capacity carefully if you keep large files or many apps on the device.
Cameras: hardware and video modes
The Pixel’s listed rear setup pairs a 48MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) and an f/1.7 aperture, with a 13MP f/2.2 ultrawide. The Nothing’s listed rear setup pairs a 50MP main camera with OIS, PDAF and an f/1.8 aperture, with an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide.
For video, PhoneArena lists rear recording up to 4K at 60fps on the Pixel and 4K at 30fps on the Nothing. The listed front cameras are 13MP on Pixel, with 4K at 30fps video, and 16MP on Nothing, with 1080p at 30fps video.

These figures describe camera hardware and supported modes, not the quality of photos or video. Megapixel counts and maximum resolution do not, by themselves, show how well a phone handles focus, motion, color or low light; the cited comparison does not provide a controlled camera test.

Battery and charging
The listed battery capacities are 5100mAh for the Pixel and 5200mAh for the Nothing. PhoneArena also shows a 6000mAh Nothing variant for India, so check the precise regional model rather than assuming every Phone (4b) has the same capacity. The comparison marks Pixel battery test results as untested; these capacities cannot establish which phone lasts longer in real-world use.
For charging, the Pixel is listed with 30W wired charging and 10W wireless charging. The Nothing is listed with 33W wired charging, and wireless charging is not listed. The Nothing’s higher stated wired-wattage figure does not by itself establish charging time, which can depend on the charger, device behavior and conditions.

What do the Pixel 10a and Nothing Phone (4b) cost?
PhoneArena lists a $499 MSRP for the Pixel 10a and €329 for the Nothing Phone (4b) with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Those figures are in different currencies and markets, and should not be subtracted or treated as a like-for-like price gap.

Connectivity and other listed specifications
PhoneArena lists Bluetooth 5.3 and USB 3.2 for the Pixel, compared with Bluetooth 6.0 and USB 2.0 for the Nothing. Both are listed with NFC, USB-C and no 3.5mm headphone jack. The Pixel is listed as supporting Qi wireless charging; wireless charging is not listed for the Nothing.
Which phone fits your priorities?
- Consider the Pixel 10a if a smaller, lighter phone, wireless charging, the listed IP68 rating, higher listed pixel density or the comparison-reported longer OS-update allowance matters most to you.
- Consider the Nothing Phone (4b) if you want a larger display, a slightly higher listed battery capacity, Bluetooth 6.0, or a lower price in a market where a current, same-storage local listing confirms that advantage.
- Compare both in person or through reliable camera samples if screen size, handling or photo quality will decide your purchase. The listed specifications do not establish which camera produces better images, and the size difference is substantial.
Before ordering, verify the exact regional model, storage capacity, official update terms, local price and seller availability. The reported specification and price pages do not settle current availability or the best value in every market.
