The Pixel 10 is the smaller phone, with Qi2 wireless charging and Google’s explicit seven-year update commitment. Xiaomi 17T gives you a larger 120Hz display, a higher-capacity battery, faster listed wired charging and a 50MP 5x periscope telephoto camera. Neither is the automatic choice: the better fit depends on whether you value compact handling and documented long-term support or a larger screen and higher listed hardware figures.
There is no reliable universal price difference to quote without a country and matching storage tiers. The available launch and review prices are from different markets and dates, so check current local listings before deciding which costs less.

The Pixel 10 has the smaller listed display at 6.3 inches. Xiaomi’s 6.59-inch AMOLED panel has a stated resolution of 2756 × 1268 and refresh rate up to 120Hz. Choose Xiaomi if a larger viewing area and high-refresh-rate specification are priorities; choose Pixel if you prefer a more compact handset. Display size alone does not establish brightness, color accuracy or outdoor readability.

How do storage and performance compare?
Both list 12GB of RAM, but their storage tiers differ. Pixel 10 is available in 128GB or 256GB configurations, while Xiaomi 17T is listed with 256GB or 512GB. Xiaomi therefore starts at a higher listed capacity. Compare prices for the same storage amount where possible, rather than comparing a base model against a larger-capacity configuration.
The Pixel uses Google Tensor G5, and Xiaomi specifies MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra. Those chip names do not establish which phone is faster in everyday use, runs cooler, or performs better in games. No controlled benchmark results for these exact models are established here.

Battery capacity and charging: what the numbers mean
Xiaomi lists a 6,500mAh typical battery; Google lists 4,970mAh typical capacity and 4,835mAh minimum capacity for Pixel 10. These capacities are not independent battery-life tests, so they do not prove how long either phone lasts for a particular person or workload.

For wired charging, Xiaomi lists 67W HyperCharge and support for up to 50W with PPS-compatible adapters. Google says Pixel 10 can reach up to 55% in about 30 minutes when used with a 30W USB-C PPS charger or higher; that charger is sold separately. Xiaomi’s global page says its power adapter is not included. Xiaomi also lists 22.5W wired reverse charging. Check the regional box contents and charger protocol before relying on a specific charging speed.

Pixel 10 adds Qi2 wireless charging up to 15W, a feature not listed in the Xiaomi specification material cited here. Xiaomi’s higher stated wired wattage and battery capacity do not, by themselves, prove a shorter charging time or longer endurance in use.
Camera hardware: both include a 5x telephoto
Each phone has a dedicated 5x telephoto camera, but the listed hardware differs. Pixel 10 specifies a 10.8MP telephoto, alongside a 48MP wide camera and 13MP ultrawide. Xiaomi 17T specifies a 50MP 5x periscope telephoto with OIS, a 50MP Light Fusion 800 main camera with OIS, and a 12MP ultrawide. Google lists Super Zoom up to 20x.

More megapixels do not automatically mean better photos. Camera output also depends on factors such as sensor characteristics, processing, focus and stabilization. The specifications alone do not establish which phone takes better pictures or video.

Google explicitly promises seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates for Pixel 10. In its August 20, 2025 launch announcement, Google product manager Stephanie Scott said, “Your phone will continue to feel fresh and secure with seven years of Pixel Drops as well as OS and security updates.” See Google’s Pixel 10 launch announcement.

Xiaomi’s global specification page lists HyperOS 3, but the reviewed specifications do not state a comparable support duration. That means a like-for-like update-term comparison cannot be made from these details; it does not establish that Xiaomi provides no updates or support commitment.
Durability, connectivity and regional differences
Both manufacturers list IP68 protection. Xiaomi’s claim has specific laboratory conditions and qualifications, and an IP rating is not a guarantee against water damage in every circumstance. Check the regional product terms rather than treating either phone as waterproof.
Google lists Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6 and NFC, and gives U.S.-model mmWave and Sub-6GHz band information. Xiaomi lists Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 6.0, while its network and eSIM availability can vary by region. Carrier compatibility, supported bands, warranty terms and eSIM availability depend on the exact regional model and market. Verify the model sold where you live against your carrier’s requirements.

Price difference: compare current local listings
A single price gap cannot be calculated responsibly from the available figures. Google’s August 20, 2025 U.S. launch announcement gave Pixel 10 a starting price of $799. A TechRadar UK review published June 2, 2026 reported Xiaomi 17T prices of £649 for 256GB and £699 for 512GB. These are historical figures from different countries, currencies, dates and storage configurations—not current equivalent offers. For a useful comparison, check current listings in your country and match storage, condition and seller type. Also account for local warranty and any included charger; prices and availability can differ by market.
