On published list prices, the Galaxy S26 FE is the cheaper phone by $100, but that gap is not stable. Google’s Pixel 10 lists at $799, while TechRadar reports a $699 US launch price for the Galaxy S26 FE 128GB. Google’s US store has also shown a temporary Pixel 10 price of $649, which would put it $50 below the Galaxy. Which phone costs less depends on the date, the seller, the storage tier and whether the price includes a carrier contract. The Pixel 10 is the smaller phone, with the longer telephoto lens and Qi2 wireless charging. The Galaxy S26 FE is the larger phone, with faster wired charging and more storage options reported.
How the price difference works
The two phones have been quoted at different prices by different sellers, so no single figure settles the question. The table below lists each published price with its conditions.
| Source | Google Pixel 10 | Samsung Galaxy S26 FE | Conditions stated |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Store specifications page | From $799 | Not stated | Google’s listed US starting price for the Pixel 10 |
| Google Store product page | $649 sale price | Not stated | $150 below $799; offer end date shown as October 11, 2026 |
| TechRadar review of the Galaxy S26 FE | Not stated | $699 for 128GB; $799 for 256GB | US launch pricing as reported by TechRadar |
| AT&T comparison page | $849.99 | $699.99 | Carrier retail prices; carrier offers may carry conditions |
Read these figures as a set of conditions rather than a single answer. The $100 gap between list prices reverses when Google’s temporary $649 price is included. The AT&T listing reverses the order again, showing the Pixel 10 at $849.99 and the Galaxy S26 FE at $699.99. A fair comparison needs three things stated alongside any price: the seller, the storage size, and whether the phone is unlocked or tied to a carrier plan, trade-in or financing.
Specifications side by side
Google’s specification page covers the Pixel 10 directly. The Galaxy S26 FE figures come from TechRadar’s review, not from Samsung’s own specification page, so treat them as reported values rather than manufacturer-confirmed ones.

| Specification | Google Pixel 10 | Samsung Galaxy S26 FE (as reported by TechRadar) |
|---|---|---|
| Display size | 6.3-inch Actua OLED | 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X |
| Display resolution and refresh | 1080 × 2424; 60–120Hz | FHD+ (1080 × 2340); 60/120Hz |
| Processor | Google Tensor G5 | Exynos 2500 |
| Memory (RAM) | 12GB in Google’s listed configurations | 8GB |
| Storage options | 128GB or 256GB | 128GB, 256GB and 512GB, depending on market; TechRadar reports no 512GB option in the US |
| Rear cameras | 48MP wide; 13MP ultrawide; 10.8MP 5x optical telephoto | 50MP wide; 12MP ultrawide; 8MP 3x telephoto |
| Battery | 4,970mAh (typical, per Google) | 4,900mAh |
| Charging | Qi2-certified wireless charging up to 15W | 45W wired; 15W wireless; no Qi2 compatibility reported |
| Weight | 7.2 oz (per Google) | 193g (per TechRadar) |
The two weights use different units. 7.2 oz is about 204g, so the Pixel 10 is listed as slightly heavier than the 193g Galaxy S26 FE figure, though both numbers come from different sources and should be checked against the current manufacturer page before you compare them directly.
Screen size and handling
Size is the clearest difference between these phones. The Galaxy S26 FE’s 6.7-inch screen is 0.4 inches larger on the diagonal and suits readers who watch video, read or multitask on a bigger panel. The Pixel 10’s 6.3-inch body is easier to use one-handed. Its panel resolution is slightly higher in height, at 2424 pixels against 2340, but the larger Galaxy screen has more total area, so neither is better overall. Refresh behaviour is similar on both: each supports 60Hz and 120Hz modes as listed.

Cameras
The main difference is the telephoto lens. The Pixel 10 has a 5x optical telephoto, while the Galaxy S26 FE has a 3x telephoto. Google also describes Super Zoom up to 20x on the Pixel 10. Those zoom figures describe lens reach, not image quality. Pixel and Samsung use different image processing, and no side-by-side camera test of these two exact phones was found in the sources used here. Megapixel counts are close, with the main sensor at 48MP on the Pixel and 50MP on the Galaxy.

Battery capacities are nearly identical: 4,970mAh typical on the Pixel 10 and 4,900mAh on the Galaxy S26 FE. Capacity alone does not predict how long either phone lasts, since screen size, chip and software all affect runtime. The charging standards differ more. The Pixel 10 supports Qi2 wireless charging up to 15W, which works with Qi2 magnetic accessories. The Galaxy S26 FE is reported at 45W wired charging and 15W wireless, without Qi2 compatibility. If you rely on wired fast charging, the Galaxy has the advantage. If you use a magnetic wireless charger or pad, the Pixel 10 is the better fit.

Chip, memory and performance
The Pixel 10 runs Google’s Tensor G5 with 12GB RAM, and the Galaxy S26 FE runs Samsung’s Exynos 2500 with 8GB. Those are the only published chip and memory specifications, and they do not establish which phone is faster in daily use.
Tom’s Guide has published benchmark results for the Galaxy S26 FE: 2,444 single-core and 7,958 multi-core in Geekbench 6, and 5,318 (31.85 FPS) in Wild Life Extreme Unlimited. Those are one outlet’s test results on its own test setup. Its comparison includes other phones but not a Pixel 10 result under the same conditions, so no performance winner between these two phones can be named from the available evidence.

- Capture stunning photos with features like night sight, portrait mode, and HDR+.
Software support
TechRadar reports that the Galaxy S26 FE receives seven Android generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates. That claim was not verified against Samsung’s official page, so confirm it there before relying on it. The sources used here do not state a software support period for the Pixel 10, so check Google’s current support page for that figure.
Which phone to choose
- Choose the Pixel 10 if you want a smaller phone, a 5x optical telephoto lens, or Qi2 magnetic wireless charging.
- Choose the Galaxy S26 FE if you want a 6.7-inch screen, faster reported wired charging, or 512GB storage in a market that offers it.
- Let price decide only at the same storage tier and seller. On the figures above, the Galaxy is cheaper at list price, while Google’s temporary Pixel 10 offer reverses that gap.
Checklist before you buy
- Pick your storage tier first. A 128GB price cannot be compared with a 256GB price.
- Check whether the listing is unlocked or tied to a carrier. Carrier prices can differ from Google and Samsung list prices.
- Read the offer end date and conditions on the seller’s page, and compare the price on the day you buy.
- If you trade in a phone or finance the purchase, compare the total cost over the contract, not the sticker price.
- Confirm the telephoto range, charging standard and screen size against your own use before committing.
The numbers above come from manufacturer specifications, retail listings and one review outlet’s reported test results. Battery runtime, camera quality and real-world speed were not measured for this comparison.

The Bottom Line
Neither phone wins on specifications alone. The Pixel 10 suits buyers who want a compact phone, the longer 5x telephoto and Qi2 magnetic charging. The Galaxy S26 FE suits buyers who want a 6.7-inch screen and faster reported wired charging. Choose on size and charging needs, then compare the price at the same storage tier from the same seller.
