The Google Pixel 10 and OPPO Reno15 Pro Mini are close in screen size but take different approaches: the Pixel has Google’s seven-year update promise and Qi2 wireless charging, while OPPO offers a lighter handset, a larger stated battery and faster wired charging. At their India launch prices, the same-capacity 256GB models differed by ₹20,000. Those are historical launch prices, not verified October 2026 street prices.
India launch prices: the 256GB Pixel cost ₹20,000 more
Google announced the Pixel 10 with 256GB storage at ₹79,999 in India in 2025. OPPO’s January 2026 launch prices were ₹59,999 for the Reno15 Pro Mini with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and ₹64,999 for its 12GB/512GB version. Comparing the two 256GB launch configurations, the OPPO was ₹20,000 cheaper. Google’s India launch announcement and OPPO’s India launch announcement give the historical prices and launch details.
OPPO’s 512GB model is not a like-for-like storage comparison with the cited Pixel 256GB price. Discounts, exchange deals, stock and current payable prices have not been verified; check same-day listings and match storage before deciding on price.

Size and display: similar screen area, lighter OPPO
The screen diagonals—6.3 inches on the Pixel and about 6.32 inches on the Reno15 Pro Mini—are nearly the same on paper. OPPO’s listed resolution is 2640 × 1216, while Google lists 1080 × 2424. Both support refresh rates up to 120Hz; Google specifies a 60–120Hz range.
OPPO lists its handset at about 187–188g depending on color, compared with 204g for the Pixel. That makes the OPPO lighter on the published figures. The phones’ dimensions are also close, though their thickness differs: approximately 8.0–8.1mm for OPPO versus 8.6mm for Google.

Camera systems: compare zoom roles, not megapixel totals
The Pixel combines a 48MP main camera, 13MP ultrawide and 10.8MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom. Google lists Super Res Zoom up to 20x. OPPO lists a 200MP main camera, 50MP ultrawide and 50MP telephoto; its launch announcement describes 3.5x optical zoom and digital zoom up to 120x.

Megapixel counts and maximum digital zoom do not establish which phone takes better pictures. No controlled head-to-head camera results are available here, so a camera-quality winner cannot be determined from these figures alone.

Battery and charging: OPPO prioritizes capacity and wired speed
OPPO lists a 6200mAh typical battery (6035mAh rated) and wired charging up to 80W SUPERVOOC. Google lists the Pixel battery as 4970mAh typical (4835mAh minimum). Google’s charging guidance says the Pixel can reach up to 55% in about 30 minutes using a 30W USB-C PPS charger or higher, sold separately; it also supports Qi2-certified wireless charging up to 15W.
The charging claims use different measures and protocols: OPPO gives a maximum wired-power rating, while Google gives a charging-percentage estimate under a specified charger condition and also supports wireless charging. Battery capacity alone does not predict real-world endurance, and these specifications do not establish which phone lasts longer in use.

Software support and the ownership trade-off
Google promises seven years of Pixel Drops, OS and security updates for the Pixel 10 generation. OPPO lists ColorOS 16.0 for the Reno15 Pro Mini, but a matching update-duration promise was not established. Buyers who prioritize a documented long support commitment have a clear point of difference in the Pixel; that does not, by itself, establish performance or overall value.
The chipset names—Tensor G5 and Dimensity 8450—are specifications, not evidence of which handset is faster in everyday use or under sustained workloads. Google calls Tensor G5 its most significant chip upgrade since Tensor began, but that is the company’s characterization, not an independent performance result.

Which one fits your priorities?
- Choose the Pixel 10 if the seven-year update commitment, Qi2 wireless charging or Google’s 5x optical telephoto are central to your decision, and the higher cited launch price fits your budget.
- Consider the Reno15 Pro Mini if you want the lighter listed weight, larger stated battery, up to 80W wired charging, or more storage at its 512GB launch configuration.
- Do not decide on camera quality, battery life or speed from specifications alone. The listed megapixels, battery capacities and chipset names are not comparative test results.
Checks to make before buying in India
- Confirm the live price, stock and exact storage configuration with the seller; the cited amounts are launch prices.
- Check local warranty coverage and whether the specific model supports your carrier’s network bands and any eSIM requirement. OPPO’s listed Reno15 Pro Mini configuration has dual nano-SIM and no eSIM.
- For the Pixel, account for the charger condition in Google’s wired charging estimate: a 30W USB-C PPS charger or higher is required and sold separately.
- OPPO lists a charger, cable and protective case in the box, but notes that box contents may vary by market. Verify what the local seller includes.
Outside India, do not assume these prices, warranty terms, network compatibility or availability apply; check the local-market model and seller details.
