Chrome 139.0.7258.155 is a historical Windows stable build, but Google’s public download pages do not confirm an archived installer or checksum for that exact version. Start with Google’s Chrome Enterprise download page for official distribution; if you need precisely build .155, verify the package version through your organization’s approved deployment process rather than assuming a current download is the older build.
Is Chrome 139.0.7258.155 available as an official offline download?
The reviewed official sources identify Chrome 139.0.7258.155 as a Windows stable build, but do not provide a verified Google-hosted archive link or checksum for it. Google’s Chrome Enterprise download page is the official starting point for Chrome distribution; it does not, by itself, establish that this historical build is currently available there.
Avoid treating an installer found on a third-party mirror as a verified Google package. If the exact build is mandatory, ask your organization’s administrator or software-distribution team to confirm package provenance, version, architecture, signature, and internal approval. Do not substitute a current Chrome installer if version pinning is a requirement.

What version is this, and when was it released?
Chrome 139 reached stable desktop release on August 5, 2025. Google’s announcement listed initial desktop builds 139.0.7258.66 for Linux and 139.0.7258.66/.67 for Windows and Mac. Version 139.0.7258.155 came later: Chromium’s source tag records the patch increment on August 25, 2025, and its Windows stable reference associates .155 with the Windows stable channel. The .155 build date is therefore not the milestone’s original stable launch date.

Those are milestone-level notes; the applicability of each change depends on platform and configuration. See Google’s Chrome 139 release notes and the Windows stable release reference.
Which installer format should Windows users choose?
Chromium’s installer documentation distinguishes two self-contained Windows installer forms. They serve different deployment contexts, but neither format listed in the documentation proves that an exact .155 package is available for download.

| Format | Typical use | What is established |
|---|---|---|
Standalone .exe |
Windows standalone installation | Documented as a self-contained installer; no exact .155 download URL is established. |
Enterprise .msi |
Managed or organizational deployment | Documented as a self-contained installer; no exact .155 download URL is established. |
For an offline installation, the complete installer must already be on the target computer or transferred to it using an approved method. The available documentation identifies the installer types, but does not verify a specific per-user or system-mode URL for build 139.0.7258.155. Consult Chromium’s installer documentation and Google’s Enterprise distribution materials for deployment guidance.
Check compatibility before installing
Google’s currently published system requirements are current documentation, not a complete historical compatibility matrix for every Chrome 139 package. Check the target device’s OS and processor before selecting a package.

- Linux: 64-bit Ubuntu 18.04 or later, Debian 10 or later, openSUSE 15.5 or later, or Fedora Linux 39 or later.
These requirements describe Google’s currently published support information and should not be read as confirmation that a Chrome 139.0.7258.155 installer is offered for every listed platform. See Google’s Chrome browser system requirements.

Chrome 139 or newer supports only Manifest V3 extensions, and Chrome 139 removed the ExtensionManifestV2Availability policy. If your workflow depends on an older Manifest V2 extension, check its availability and migration status before pinning or installing this version. Google’s Chrome Enterprise release notes document the change.

Chrome 139 is a historical milestone, and Google’s release pages list later milestones. For ordinary browsing, use a currently maintained release obtained through Google’s official distribution channel rather than intentionally installing an older build. A historical build may make sense only where a controlled compatibility or organizational requirement calls for it; confirm that requirement and the package source with your administrator.
