Use this checklist to track Odin’s Ravens, Artifacts, Nornir Chests, and Legendary Chests by realm and region in God of War (2018). It separates trophy progress from the game’s 100% completion requirement: Santa Monica Studio says 43 Ravens count for the Allfather Blinded and Father and Son achievements, while all 45 Ravens shown for 100% are required for in-game completion. This is a category checklist, not a complete location-by-location inventory or a full 100% guide.
What this checklist tracks—and what it does not
The four categories below are useful to track separately. The official realm summaries show completion by realm and category, while a trophy guide describes how the collectibles and chest puzzles work. The available counts establish realm totals for some chest categories, but not every individual location; use the checklist to record finds without treating it as a route map.
- Odin’s Ravens: track the 100% requirement separately from achievement progress.
- Artifacts: a distinct collectible category with its own regional progress count.
- Nornir Chests: rune-based puzzle chests.
- Legendary Chests: their own category in the realm completion summaries, not another name for Nornir Chests.
These four categories do not make up every realm objective. Santa Monica Studio’s completion summaries also include goals such as favors, lore, Mystic Gateways, shops, Valkyries, and Realm Tear encounters.

For each category, mark each find in your own notes and update the found/total counter. A region-specific total is included only where the cited official summary supplies one; do not infer missing totals from another realm.

Santa Monica Studio lists 17 Nornir Chests and 25 Legendary Chests in Midgard, and 4 Nornir Chests and 5 Legendary Chests in Alfheim. Those are regional totals, not game-wide totals. For categories or regions without a stated number above, use the game’s realm summary rather than filling in a guessed value.
How to use realm and regional progress
- Open the in-game realm or region summary. Check the category totals for the area you are tracking.
- Record each category independently. Update Ravens, Artifacts, Nornir Chests, and Legendary Chests in separate counters; finding one chest type does not mark the other.
- Compare found and total values. If the counter is incomplete, keep the remaining number associated with that region rather than assuming the item is nearby or in a particular location.
- Check the other completion categories before calling a realm complete. The four collectible groups here do not cover all objectives shown in official completion summaries.
Ravens: achievement progress is not the same as 100%
Santa Monica Studio’s support page, updated November 5, 2022, states: “You only need 43 to obtain the Allfather Blinded and Father and Son achievements, but to obtain 100% completion in-game, all 45 ravens are required.” Treat 43 as the threshold for those two named achievements, not as the full Raven 100% target.

A 2018 third-party video-guide result reports 51 Ravens in the game overall. That guide count is separate from Santa Monica Studio’s official 45-Raven completion requirement; the figures answer different questions and should not be substituted for one another.
Artifacts and chest puzzle types
Artifacts
PlayStationTrophies.org’s guide reports 45 Artifacts and says none are missable. It also notes that the regional map indicates how many remain in an area, which makes the map counter useful for narrowing down unfinished regions. This is a guide’s count and guidance, rather than a number attributed to Santa Monica Studio’s support page.

Nornir Chests
Nornir Chests require solving a nearby rune puzzle. Depending on the chest, the guide describes breaking seals, rotating symbols into the correct position, or striking bells in quick succession. The method varies by chest, so use the visible symbols and surrounding puzzle elements rather than assuming one solution method applies to all of them.
Legendary Chests
Legendary Chests are tracked as a separate category in official realm summaries. Do not add them to the Nornir Chest counter, even though both are chests and both contribute to area tracking.

What a four-category checklist cannot certify
Completing every Raven, Artifact, Nornir Chest, and Legendary Chest does not by itself establish that a save file is at 100%. Official realm summaries also track other objectives, including favors, lore, Mystic Gateways, shops, Valkyries, and Realm Tear encounters. Check the in-game summary for the full set of requirements applicable to each realm.
