Gaming expectations
The Radeon 780M is integrated graphics, not a discrete gaming GPU. It suits light or moderate gaming expectations, but buyers seeking consistently high settings or frame rates in demanding modern games should consider a PC with a dedicated graphics card. GEEKOM advertises up to 39 TOPS of total AI performance. For the Ryzen 9 8945HS, CNX Software lists 16 NPU TOPS and 39 total TOPS at a 45W TDP (CNX Software’s Ryzen 9 A8 review). These figures describe processor and platform AI capability; they do not guarantee that a particular AI application will run locally, support the NPU, or reach a given speed. Check an application’s hardware and software requirements rather than treating TOPS as a direct measure of real-world performance.
Which ports and displays does it support?

Is the GEEKOM A8 worth buying?

Windows Central reported a $629 MSRP and a temporary $549 Amazon price for one listing in 2025; neither figure establishes today’s price or applies to every A8 configuration. Before ordering, verify the processor, included memory and SSD, seller, warranty, and return policy.
