In the India-market specifications, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G offers a larger, higher-resolution display and a much higher listed battery capacity, while the Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro 5G lists 4K rear video, microSD expansion and a specific six-year security-update commitment. A price comparison captured on October 7, 2026 showed the Xiaomi ₹10,749 higher, but that was a retailer listing snapshot, not a permanent price gap. The right choice depends on which trade-offs matter to you—and on the exact RAM/storage variant and live price.

Camera choice: video features versus a selfie and ultrawide option
Samsung lists 4K rear recording
The Galaxy F70 Pro 5G specification page lists three rear camera modules, optical image stabilization (OIS), and 4K/30 fps video recording. That is the clearer choice on paper if 4K recording is a requirement.

Software support and included accessories
Samsung states that the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G will receive six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, counted from its first global launch date. Xiaomi’s India page identifies HyperOS 3 based on Android 16, but does not state an equivalent support-duration promise in the information cited here. If a defined update window is central to your decision, Samsung provides the more explicit commitment.
Xiaomi’s India specification page lists a 67 W adapter and protective case in the box, as well as a USB-C cable, SIM eject tool and documentation. Package contents may vary by region. The Samsung specification page reviewed does not establish a box-content list, so check the retailer or exact package listing rather than assuming an adapter is included.

India price difference: treat listings as a snapshot
A 91mobiles comparison page accessed on October 7, 2026 displayed the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G at ₹26,250 @ Amazon and the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G at ₹36,999 @ Amazon—a displayed difference of ₹10,749, with the Redmi higher. These are retailer listing prices from that access date, not durable MSRPs; stock, seller, promotions and configuration can change. See the 91mobiles comparison listing.
Samsung’s official buy page showed broken price fields during the same review and marked a selected 6 GB/128 GB configuration “Not for sale.” It also displayed a ₹39,999 configuration value on a separate 8 GB listing page, which should not be conflated with the retailer snapshot or treated as a stable official price. Check Samsung India’s current buying page. Before comparing offers, match RAM and storage on both phones and confirm the seller, availability and any offer conditions.
